So curious about who the queen’s attendant is, her face is never shown on the screen!!
I was going to comment the same thing. I think there might be a story behind that. Maybe she is a double agent. Works for the queen spying on someone else they are not ready to let us know, or is spying on the queen.
What is showed of Africa in the drama happens in plenty of countries in Africa yesterday and nowadays. It is nothing…
You keep doubling down comparing a whole continent to a country and even city? You don't even realize how minimizing that is- you are refusing to see what it implies and don't actually want to know by all your responses. I mean you can have someone who lives in South Africa and another Morocco as an example of how vast the continent is and the difference in culture and languages etc . These countries have their own cities too. It's really baffling that you refuse to understand what we are saying and you displayed the exact thing we are talking about with the drama by picking countries even cities to start and now a state to compare the whole of Africa with. I am done now, will not be responding you.
What is showed of Africa in the drama happens in plenty of countries in Africa yesterday and nowadays. It is nothing…
You totally miss the point, in fact you are proving one of the things we say the drama is doing wrong, Africa is a continent not a country or city. You are comparing putting ML in Tibet instead of "Africa", you didn't say Asia but Tibet. You say Detriot not North America, Brazil not South America.
I agree with most of what you said. The plot is good but does have some weaknesses. There are a bit too many coincidences…
Agree with this, totally deliberate. It even said in one of the early episode narrations- where ever BFX is you would be sure to find HFX. ML already fell hard some time in the past that we didn't get to see.
But it's a comment section where you comment about what you'd liked and what you didn't like, and I think it's…
It is about the drama, why would we all start talking about a random point if it was not in the drama? Like seriously? You are saying"Cry-baby" Now we go to name calling very classy .
But it's a comment section where you comment about what you'd liked and what you didn't like, and I think it's…
If its not relevant to the drama it wouldn't have been in the drama for us to see and wouldn't have come out in the comments, everyone has the right to comment in this section about what they like and don't like in the drama whether you like it or not.
It’s so concerning that a lot of people aren’t talking about the intro and the way Africa is being portrayed…
It’s not been ignored by some of us. If you look in the earlier comments you will see the outrage. So disappointed in some people’s counter comments saying people pointing this ignorance out are ‘triggered’ or “over sensitive”.
Every single west drama calls it "Africa" why are these people bitching about when this happens in kdrama? This…
Your logic is so flawed just because the West did something wrong doesn't mean it should be repeated. People should aim to do better for a better kinder world. It's really saddening to read some of these comments minimizing this. It may seem minor to you but its really becoming a small trend in some modern K and C dramas, I have dropped a few because of this, one was about a virus in some place in "Africa" like seriously yet COVID started in China , a few mentioned threatening their kid- with a punishment to send them to "Africa" - implication is its the worst place to go. These seem minor but create a terrible narrative in peoples mind. Dramas have more power than you think. It seems some of these dramas want to create a narrative that they are better than Africa which is a dangerously close to white supremacy. Using the word "triggered" is really upsetting to see in your comment its really not a just a drama media is powerful. Look how Trump became president because he was a household name, even the Ukrainian president was first a comedian. Its so powerful that's why its heavily regulated by some gvts, just because you may know the representation is false doesn't mean the masses who watch the dramas think it is false. There is poverty in Asia they should highlight that and leave the continent of Africa alone if they have nothing positive to show.
🤔 I don't see anything wrong with the Africa plot, but maybe it's because I'm from Africa🤷. And for the…
You can't take one person's opinion as the representation of all Africans. Thats why it's important to realize its a continent not a country even within a country people's views differ.
They needed to portray a charity program and they picked one out of many possibilities. They didn't say that Africa…
The fact they said Africa is a generalization as it is a continent not a country. It's the next largest continent after Asia. Even maps we use today have been distorted to look like the continent is smaller than it is https://www.one.org/us/blog/map-africa-game/. It's a huge continent with different countries and cultures. As well as the fact he could have done charity in any other Asian country, the African continent doesn't need to always be portrayed as a place with poverty its offensive to people from the different countries in Africa and helps build stereotypes, most countries in the West have now been working to reverse this, as they are harmful and there is still a painful history with colonization, slavery and Africans being perceived as inferior. Yes it may help the writers build a plot but especially for people who do not travel who watch this, it may build a basis for them to think that the whole of the African continent is a certain way and then they have certain bias its more harmful than most people think. Pop culture greatly influences what some people think more than we would like to think.
I guess he just doesn't care about him as he has nothing to do with him... the only reason he saved BFX coz he…
Oh really, I wish they had kept a bit of his darker side. It would make the reservations and insults ,FL was throwing at him in the beginning make more sense, And would be nice to see his character progression from that angle.
i love how feng lanxi doesn't give a shit about keeping his hidden identity a secret 😂 😂 😂 just bopping…
I am bit torn about this, i think he should be more discreet, since he hasn't had the convo with his brother who loves him dearly. Hope they can keep that brotherly love going somehow. Also the queen knowing will not be good for him.
You are not pretty, i am not pretty but Wu Jin Yan is pretty
Oh so your true angst comes out. Seriously Xu Kai is his own person and doesn't need to be attached to Bai Lu. Wu Jin Yan is pretty and done her role well accordingly to the script.
Really hope HFX can bring his older brother into the know and they work together.
