In addition to the director, I want to see more work from this Scriptwriter!! So refreshing to have no toxic male leads, a female lead who is shy who grows into her own confidence, thanks to the ML who gently supports her. LOVE this!!

I don't understand. I had seen a movie called Love at 30,000 Feet recently and it was about a relationship between Meng Liyue and Li Fuzheng, the former being an air traffic controller and the latter being a pilot. How is this MDL listing completely different?? Why don't they call this listing "Captain of Her Own Sky"? Thanks for helping me understand.

Oh my goodness, the ML and FL are positively STUNNING! Both of them, gorgeous beyond words. I looked forever for the name of the show to find the names of the cast and sifted through hundreds of YT comments and now I am so pleased I know the names - Liu Xi Yu and Zou Sheng Wen

I'm on Ep. 18 and TBH, I don't see the negativity in some of the reviews. On the other hand, it had so many unexpected gifts from strong, progressive representations of women to simple yet big-hearted men who are open to learning what they do not know, all the while knowing instinctively (I wish) to cherish and protect their beloved ladies. At the same time, it did not gloss over some of the very real ugliness we have all experienced in life, from poverty to abuse to sheer evil stuff. It's a solid 8/ 10 for me at the moment, although I wish there were a bit more romance.

I loved seeing the two leads in roles different than their usual...and gosh, what's Chen Fang Tong doing without her best partner-in-crime, the very and always hot Dai Gao Zheng???? Horrors but truly Luo Zhen was wonderful as a sweet, honourable Green flag ML. I have a feeling, like others who have commented, that I will return to rewatch this in the future. It's a lovely slice-of-life series for me. I'm glad I stumbled onto this gem.

I've seen him in a full length drama (24 episodes) where he is SML, playing the best friend of the FL. Very cool to see him play such a different role. I liked seeing the range of his potential. I don't want him to be typecasted just for his abs or his kissing prowess (not that I do not admire both of those). I'd love to see his range of acting coz he's pretty good in these mini dramas. Kinda annoying though the ML roles in these short dramas are often so toxic...why do writers keep writing MLs who shove FLs and yet profess to care for the women... Oh, the SML role I was talking about was in Love In Time (2022).

LOL!!! I had the same question of Zhang Linghe these last 2 years... Both are so fine though, therefore, I'm not complaining that hard. Actually, I'm not complaining at all...except for how my work day gets in the way of keeping up to date with their dramas. Wish someone would do the adult-ing for me. ROFL!

ROFL! The clip on social media was intriguing enough to investigate. I have limited time to watch these days so shifting to mini dramas to relieve the itch. Even so, I hate wasting precious time I can’t take back, if you have recommendations of decent mini dramas, please share. I prefer FLs who despite overwhelming odds are smart with some.
backbone but still vulnerable . MLS can be grey or green flags. Red flags are okay if they have redemptive arcs. I don’t like the pushing, pulling, shoving of FL like she’s a rag doll from start to finish. That bothers me lots, even if it’s fictional. 🤔😊

So @mina, it's been a month. Did you rewatch it? I'd love to hear your perspective the second time around. :-) I mean the tropey premise has possibilities but it was so badly written I'm shocked it got produced. I've read A LOT of fanfiction that's so much better.

I chose to wait for your Ep 4 and 5 to come out instead of jumping on the other sites, d-cool, d-nice, kiss-etc.... thanks for advising followers of estimated time of upload.... PS - belated Happy Lunar New Year! PPS - I have been re-watching earlier episodes you subbed while waiting for your upload, trying to see why Ando so easily and naturally fell in love with Mao. ;-)
