lmao!! i love jdramas but yeah, can't deny that. x'D Most of them could use a level up in their skills, lol. often times it feels like I'm watching a stage play.
Ep one is soooo good! This was way better than expected, probably one of the better dramas this fall. Though Tatsuya is even worse than I thought. I was cautiously hopeful but... every scene he appears feels instantly silly though it's not supposed to be. -_-; He is definitely a miscast but of course they cast him for all the Snowman fans that will watch, it's a shame though, he definitely brings the drama quality down. Kei and Wakana are amazing though. Can't wait for the next ep. Though idk how it will top the rollercoaster ride that was ep 1.
Hideyoshi only appeared for like a few seconds, hopefully we'll see him more in future eps. It's a shame Hideyoshi couldn't have been Ryo... of course, he's just not popular enough yet for bigger roles in the prime time dramas. t_t He would have been a great Ryo though!
the first 15 min story was kinda boring, but I guess if it's your thing it could be cute. what stood out to me most was how yellow the guy's teeth were.
This drama is about a cosplaying a character from a video game about girls getting raped/humiliated??? ???? ???????? ?_? what. in the f*ckkk. The characters are dressed like maids and look like little girls in the game... I've seen that sort of gunk around the internet (can't avoid seeing illustrated sexualized little girls on the Japanese side of the internet) and it's disgusting that it exists much less that it's so popular. D: I was excited to see Kouta in something but, um, hard no. ~_~ I mean the first ep is kinda fun apart from that but um, hard no to the game in the drama.
Looks like it could be good but... can Tatsuya act? :/ These johnnys (starto) dudes always get big roles tho their skills are questionable af. =-= I like Snowman but still annoying seeing them in drama roles when they aren't good. :/
The FL's voice was really annoying in the teaser vid, lol, hopefully it's not as bad spread throughout the drama cause this looks like it could be fun.
The scene where Yukino got some sort of oil massage by Aoshima's mom was so weird! xD Like they were still in the awkward phase of their relationship, both her and his mom and her and Aoshima... x_x; But, that's a me thing I guess, clearly the characters were okay with it...
tbh, they still felt... kinda awkward and distant to each other by the end, like promising marriage seemed wild, and they had only been dating 3 months at that point. Though I am glad there wasn't any of the cliched trope that one of the characters goes overseas for 1 year or two and comes back and then they marry.
Shota isn't that great of an actor, but he is somehow charming, enough to make up for his lack in skills. Tanizaki was a fantastic side character, wish we got more of him. Seen that actor in something else and he was great in that too. Hopefully we'll see more of him in other dramas.
The very last like 60 seconds of them as a married couple was perfect... Loved the cat. <3
This drama started out so promising, I loved the ghost stuff in ep 1, the puppets were cute... and the murder mystery was tantalizing. But I can't make through ep 7, it's so boring. -_- All the tension is gone... they keep talking about the project stuff which I don't care about. The ghost stuff hardly makes an appearance at this point and I feel like the thread of the murder mystery has got pretty lost... I just can't care anymore. And Gouki is over-acting a bit, it feels a bit smothering, and their love story feels over done with the intensity that doesn't match what they've gone through. And there is another 8 eps in a second season, OTL Should have made it one season and tightened up the story.
end of ep 7 she's crying that he won't remember her, and all that other stuff but he's like... ON THE BRINK OF DEATH, lmfaooo, dude is a ghost and he's just listening to her sob story about her feelings and such, I kept waiting for him to say "but I'm lying in a coma and dying!!!" OTL
That was a heavy drama... glad to be done it...It was shot really beautifully, it was done well so I think I'm…
So much death tho, like how ill omened was that house with all the kids.
The second half felt somehow almost anti-climatic though, as the first half was 13 kids getting starved to death and then the later deaths didn't have as much impact, like Takeru's death and the things surrounding it felt almost dragged out.
In the last scene, when Saeki was shot and had all that blood on his lips, it looked like lipstick to me and kinda took me out of the scene. ~_~
It was shot really beautifully, it was done well so I think I'm glad I watched it. ~_~ All the child abuse scenes were so awful to watch... There are some really intense scenes in this drama, like somehow mundane and yet so awful.
looking at the photo on the website and I'm so confused. Is the KR belt right on Shouma's belly? It looks like he unzipped a flap on his shirt to expose the belt, and it's just sitting on his skin? lol.
in ep 1, Mamiya should have reported Sahashi for sexual harassment. :x also it was a tad boring, hope it picks up... And at the end of ep when Sahashi comes onto Mamiya, I feel like Mamiya should have been surprised? He looked rather unfazed. It was really missing that oomph factor, like... lacking excitement.
