I watched Ano Kuzu last season which featured boxing and I was hoping for as much actual fighting action as that, cause that had the perfect amount (for me). And I would totally drop this drama realizing it's not for me, but Nalu... xD
I mean it's one thing to be an MMA drama, and another for something like ep 3 which was just... idk, an entire ep of a training montage? lol.
Right, why is everyone in the comment section for this drama complaining about the cheating but not the rape? Which was the reason she cheated... They were pretty much an estranged couple at the point it happened too.
Wouldn't it be a bit weird for your mom to use the same perfume as your girlfriend? o-o;
A lot of this drama felt a bit weird to me, a son dating the daughter of a woman his mom is in love with, that mom loving on a woman who is married (and her son marries into so she becomes family) - like after that many years too? Move on girl, lol (Japan and it's obsession with first loves...). Using the same actor for Kanae and young Mone was just another layer of weird vibes.
as far I know, many J-dramas that run 1eps/week on TV aren't fully pre-produced. After finalizing several early…
yeah, I'm aware they do that for jdramas, I wasn't asking if it was possible, I asked if others thought the director decided to change the initial idea for the ending for this particular drama.
I have watched the last episode more than 5 times now and Some part of me is like ah..... this maybe just maybe…
> But he wasn't ABUSIVE ABUSIVE!
I mean, he raped her though. That's in part why she cheated, she was looking for solace. I would say what shouldn't EVER be done is rape even more than cheating. It seems like many people are over-looking this detail, maybe because it's uncomfortable to think about.
I was on twitter looking at tweets about the drama and someone said they thought the ending might have changed from Miwa ending up with Fuyutsuki, to ending up with Hiroki because of how well Kei acted... and I can't stop thinking about it. Especially because of how at the start of drama, how Miwa and Fuyutsuki were depicted compared to how cold they seemed at the end.
Does anyone else think they might have decided to change the ending to the drama after how Hiroki and Fuyutsuki were portrayed by the actors, and maybe also the audience's reaction?
I'm glad she ended up with Hiroki, in part just cause I hated Fuyutsuki so much, lol. I like Snowman, but Tatsuya was such a miscast. He ruined every scene he was in as he can't really act, especially compared to the other leads in this. Though I'm surprised she ended up with Hiroki, cause I mean, that scene where Miwa and Fuyutsuki had sex together in ep 1 was so ridiculously shot, lol... (That was such an out of place scene with the way it was shot... there was nothing else like it in this drama, but I guess it was just fanservice for Snowman fans) It seemed like it was gonna be Fuyutsuki and Miwa in the end.
Felt really bad for Hiroki but I guess it's also hard to lose everything. Can you really accept someone else's child like that though after your wife cheated? Could this ever happen in real life? Doesn't seem possible to accept it as Hiroki did. Also I couldn't help but wonder if Hiroki was infertile... I kept thinking they would touch on that and sometimes it felt like they were angling that way with certain stuff but they never went there.
Wish we could have gotten a bit more of Hideyoshi and Nishigaki... anyway.
It feels like the comment section on this drama has turned into people ranting about cheaters more than talking…
A lot of people are watching and enjoying this drama. So you shouldn't worry about it. I don't think it's tv ratings are the best, but for online streaming services like tver, it's top ranked! I'm pretty sure it's the number 1 drama this season online in Japan.

I might continue only for Koseki, lol. xD
Anyway, really like him in dramas, hope he's in a good drama in the winter or spring!

Thank god this drama is over! lmao.
