Each character have its importance. XL is an important core character & deserves better. Xiang Liu is a selfless beautiful character. He is like a matchmaker for FL to help her get happiness. TH is a genius creating such characters. XL hides his feelings but remain loyal to his love & duty. Imagine this story without him. When XY suffers between CX obsession & TSJ soft love, who will save her from this mess.

Actually, novel only has 1 FL & 3 main male leads. Feng Long is actually a support character. He is main character in drama only. He has some romance plot too with FL.

Yeah. Those biased people shouldn't be mocking & disrespectful towards XL. He is a beautiful selfless characters. He is the one, led FL to happiness in life.

Some haters & biased complaining without respecting character importance. Xiang liu had just taken lovers bug for XY so, whatever pain Xiao yao feels, he will suffers too. He is XY saviour & soulmate.

First volume refers to Xuan losing Xiao Yao. It also indirectly refers to Xiao Yao losing Xiang liu.

Drama has only started air for 4 days. It has 2 seasons. With every episode, little by little each character development will be shown, so who haven't read novel, please give it a chance.

We can now guess about Jing as sweet rich lover & Xuan as one sided obsessive lover. Xiang liu is different. He is a born demon, hence is bit rough. People misjudged him as rude but, some characters tends to be complex. Not everyone is sweet talker. XL has deep understanding of life as he suffered some of the worst things. He hides his pains & emotions. Like now, XL asked her to stay but XY said she will be fine but was captured & tortured by CX. Jing offered money but XL didn't take it and still helps to rescue XY. Later, when XL was injured in battle, he still goes to works for others & came back with medicine to heal XY. He is willing to save her silently. XL is her soulmate. He is happy as long XY is happy & safe in life, even if its not with him.

Fortunately for us he isn't. 😌

See, Xuan's every night would have been golden. Xiang liu himself would no idea that Xuan getting free service by him. 🤧🤣

I just want to hug Xiang liu so much. He is injured but still goes to works for others & came back with medicines & healed her. Its painful to watch, how XL didn't disturb her & remain invisible, seeing XY is safe & happy.

TH character description is painful. People who misjudged XL, have no idea that Xiang liu is a beautiful selfless character with tragic ending. He made sure, FL will have safe & happy life, even if its not with him.

Hope people who haven't read novel give his character development a chance & don't believe any foul words of haters in disguise who are twisting words to make issues for drama.
