Never ever trust the rating on MDL because it’s usually filled with fans and they will do everything in their power to push the rating of their favs. I have seen it happen too often here. Also, I think some other celebrity fans are coming to other celebrity pages and down rating their dramas to undermine dramas in competition. Use your brain if your want to watch something good, not because of the hype. If you look at the episode guide, you’ll see that the rating is already down for episodes that haven’t came out. That’s your clue.
Stop it. I went in without expectation for this drama and now I’m crying nonstop. This will go down as a masterpiece. Haven’t seen one since Love and redemption, ashes of love, peach blossom.
Episode 29: This is the first drama where the female lead doesn’t leave with the second lead even after being betrayed by the main lead. *clap clap clap* Thank you Jiangci. She is firm and takes pride in her choice. I need more responsible female lead like her.
After watching up to episode 27, i can said that the producers gave these three leads a fair share of being the at the center. Episodes 1~10 was mostly focus on Peiyuan, episodes 11~20 Jiangci, WZ, and PY relationship dynamics. 21~30 focuses on WZ story. I bet episodes 31~40 will be Jiangci.
I am crying for my Jiangci again. She is such a smart and decisive girl. She dare to love and express herself. Many times many female leads are written with too much prides that they almost ruin their relationship but Jiangci is different and in her own lead. Life is not about winning every single battle. If you live with that motto, you should understand why you're alone. Experience is something that everyone shouldn't be afraid of but learn to appreciate the lessons that come with life. Life is really long and boring. Do the things you want now. Pick your battle and this is the battle that Jiangci picked. Although I may disagree with her sometimes, I appreciate her boldness and her growth to be the best version of herself in every episode. ❤️💐 Li Landi is really an accomplished and professional actress. She made me fall in love with Jiangci's character over and over again that I cried for Jiangci every night since I know her ending like when I cried for Xiangliu. 😭Hehe just so you know Jiangci and Xiangliu has a drama together. 😂

I predicted from the fire scene in the trailer and small clips. The scene where peiyan drag her back while she was crying is where Weizhao will die with the emperor in the fire. Not sure if it will be an open ending where Weizhao may be alive but from the interview, Allen said it's a sad ending. So be prepared.
Does anyone know if Li Landi is shooting another drama after Zhao Xuelu? I'm hoping she will get more projects. I really miss her in costume drama. She is such a good actress and has classic beautiful features that separate her from other actresses. It's a shame Chinese audience doesn't appreciate her just because she isn't their standard of yan.
