I think something like that could be, possible. This show does layer emotions, so it could be that Pisaeng is ruining Kawi's plan/happiness on two fronts, by being Phrae's favorite and by inspiring non-platonic feelings in Kawi, hence the fight.

I summarized the general idea, but yes, I think the exact translation was "ruining my happiness". Basically, it seems to be about ruining Kawi's plans. (Whether his current time traveling plans would actually bring about his happiness is a different thing altogether)I think Pisaeng might be ruining Kawi's plan/happiness on two fronts, by being Phrae's favorite and by inspiring non-platonic feelings in Kawi, hence the fight.

It was so painful. Psaeng was most comfortable around Kawi, and to be told, as a friend, he makes Kawi feel uncomfortable and unsafe, ouch! Furthermore, ideally the one you love should be the person you are even more comfortable around than a friend, which is pretty much what Psaeng is feeling, double ouch!

That preview for episode 4. I'm starting to suspect the reason Kawi was slapping Pisaeng and accusing him of ruining things for him, is related to Kawi acknowledging Pisaeng has gotten under his skin and Kawi doesn't know how to deal with it. Like Kawi is saying, I hate you for making me feel things for you, my plans are ruined.

I wan't the next episode to find out the real context, but we have to wait for 6 whole days, argh!

This episode really was an emotional gut punch!

You could see the conflict in Pisaeng when he was watching Kawi and Phrae at the restaurant. How he was happy for Kawi, but sad for himself for losing Kawi by helping Kawi get closer with Phrae.

Kawi repeatedly hurt Pisaeng, but he was also regretful for doing it. It was so devastating for Pisaeng when Kawi said, "You make me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, I don't want you to be this close to me", because that wasn't him just rejecting Pisaeng as a friend, which was bad enough, it was a rejection of the budding feelings Pisaeng is having for Kawi and the way Pisaeng has expressed them. From Kawi's point of view, uncomfortable and unsafe was because of the kiss, but from Pisaeng's perspective there was no kiss, just some flirting and teasing Kawi about liking Pisaeng, which Kawi had already told him, wasn't fun for Kawi.

I wonder if in episode 4 Kawi really will single-mindedly pursue Phrae or if it's already a more complicated situation. Kawi did say, "I don't know who I'm supposed to ignore, implication being Pisaeng or Phrae", and he is clearly shook by the kiss.

If you missed anything it would be last years shows, like the sensation that was KinnPorsche 2022.

Another good one was Love Mechanics, the new 10 episode version from 2022, it's less explicit, but not shy either.

Then there's the controversial Love in the Air 2022. The first couple had crazy chemistry, but you should be adult enough to know about Dom/sub dynamics to understand what's happening. Many people were clueless and disturbed. It is by MAME though so it's in no way a perfect representation of Dom/sub. MAME has issues with her portrayals of sexuality anyways. The overall quality of that show went down like a rock when the second couple became the center of the story after the half way mark.

Oh, Cutie Pie is watchable.

The are other show, but the acting is mostly so bad, I haven't watched them. Bed Friend was borderline ridiculous with their intimate scenes but still a watchable series. I dropped Big Dragon.

The op said he loves Gawin, and wants to watch for him, I think it's worth it. I'm not a fan of any actor, though I like some more than others. In my own head I put actors in the 'good' category, if I can see layered emotions and read their motivations on their face and in their body language. Gawin looks pretty skilled to me here, and he is hot 😄.

First half of episode 1 has a lot of setup for the story line, so if you're very impatient that might be a bit tedious, but it's worth it in the end. I'm not a fan of Krist, I'm indifferent really, not a fan of SOTUS either, battled through it, because it's basically a BL classic. This series is entirely different, and it's worth a watch, even if just for Gawin 😀.

Pisaeng and Phrae have known each other since they were kids, their families know each other. Like someone said, it could be an arranged marriage/marriage of convenience. [Edit] In the alternate universe that's plausible.

In the original timeline, it looks like Kawi messed up by attaching to the girl. In his anxiousness and obliviousness he pushed Pisaeng into her arms, when he was meant to be with Pisaeng himself. That's why Pisaeng and Phrae got together in the first place. [Edit]

The scene where Pisaeng tries to get the 'little Kawi' toy, the toy keeps slipping from his grasp and he gets so frustrated. I just realized, it's a mirroring scene. Pisaeng is playing that game, while Kawi is talking to his crush at the restaurant, and Pisaeng is feeling like Kawi is slipping through his fingers, like he's losing Kawi to her.

Pisaeng is hot indeed, help!

Soon, 2+hours to go! I'm comforting myself by rewatching We Best Love and Semantic Error. Come on Friday, I want to know if Be My Favorite will remain a good one argh!
