I'm high-key weirded out imagining it. I'm basically wringing my hands. I don't like fanservice anyway, and I was just thinking, I want to see the series and the acting, please no controversies from that side of things.

I don't know if there's a book available anywhere. I just looked at the cues in the story. Pisaeng drew Kawee as his "secret friend" and the way he talks to Kawee about why he won't keep it a secret is foreshadowing. The way Pisaeng looks at Kawee when he's playing basketball and also when he goes up to DJ, and the way he is so clearly showing off to him, most clearly when playing basketball. It's not even what he says at the basketball court, about whether or not Kawee is interested in him, which is sending out feelers anyway, but the way he's looking at Kawee and the disappointment on his face when he sees Kawee is gone from the bench. All of it says look, there's a possibility for something more here.

Of course, Kawee is so withdrawn, he's the type that doesn't easily dare to think someone might be into him, so he has a hard time noticing. It's all about Phrae to him, the kind girl who's always just out of reach romantically, which is kinda a safe option, if you think about it. Nothing is gonna happen with her, so Kawee can continue hiding in plain sight living his non-life he's stuck in, no risk for scary big change. This time travel thing is about to explode on Kawee, which is hopefully gonna be really interesting!

So Botkawee didn't fail to get the girl. He drove the boy that might have been interested in him, into the arms of the girl that was kind to him, all because he was so wrapped up in his own insecurities. The sadness of the whole situation came across vividly.

I'm cautiously hoping this will stay as good as it was. Really enjoyed the acting. Wish I could binge-watch the whole thing right now! Arrggh!

Oh no, I completely forgot about "Something About 1%" it is very similar to 'A Business Proposal' and the first episode isn't as wild as "Crazy Love" 😁. Don't be misled by the beginning of "Crazy Love" if you watch it by the way, it's not actually all that serious.

Exactly like this is a hard LOL, but 'Crazy Love' is similar, and such a good show, it would be my first choice. Also, 'True Beauty' is kinda similar with younger main leads. 'Love to Hate You' and 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' might have something in common too. You should also check out 'Her Private Life'.

I really like that the conflicts are short, it would get tedious otherwise. Force's lower stomach is a certified fire hazard.

Which show is next? Is it Vice versa, My school President, A Boss and a Babe, Bad Buddy and then A Thousand Stars like listed on the related content section?

Actually 😁, I think it's maybe not a 't' after all, but sounds more like 'd' or a glottal stop. I'm not all that familiar with the sounds in Thai.

I think he does do that. I don't know why for sure, but I've understood that the 's' sound is followed by vowel in Thai, so maybe Thai speakers choose a letter that feels more natural to them instead like 't', since Boss ends in an 's'. He isn't strictly speaking going for proper English pronunciation when he says Boss, it's a loan word from English that's spoken in Thai. If you speak multiple languages, you'll notice people use loanwords this way. I mean you can choose to pronounce them in the way your native language would. In Finnish we could say Bossi, because we operate in consonant+vowel+consonant+vowel patterns.

The show is a bit iffy all around, but I like it well enough. They don't necessarily have to have crazy chemistry, the issue, to my eye, acting wise is that they hold themselves too stiffly when they are hugging etc. The directors and actors aren't really skilled in body language. The leads don't release tension in their body and relax into the arms of their love interest, that's what distracts me.

Lol, that was me! I've watched the final episode of the Queenmaker now and they are different shows. I liked Why Her a little bit more, I think.

So, peddling sugar p*nises, okay then. This is hilarious.

The shows where the actors make you feel them... I'd say Love Mechanics (2022 version is the proper show), Kinnporche, We best love(Special edition version for both seasons). There's also the following shows that are maybe a little less consistent: A Boss and a Babe, My School President and even 2gether (the beginning half is especially strong)

I was also confused about where they are going with this, but seeing them reminded me how strongly I felt about Bad Buddy so I don't care just give me something, anything 😊🤗!

There are moments all over, it's in the details of how they look at each other that probably takes the cake. The scene where Pat helps Pran design the buss stop is one of the best. Then there's the one where Pat gives Pran his guitar, they both say so much with their eyes. You shouldn't look away, because there's a few seconds where Pat looks at Pran like he is his world, before he snaps out of it. And obviously the kiss, freaking emotional. I suppose that's why I like We best Love (Special edition version), you feel them. In the second season the way Shu Yi is furious but also the way his eyes say you are here again, I get to look at you again.

50 episodes, for real? 😥 I dislike the 16 episode formula already, that's too many for most Korean dramas. They end naturally at around 10 episodes, and a second wind is forcibly squeezed out of the story after that, torturous. I wanted to watch this, but 50 episodes, I'm scared.

The lack of kissing doesn't render a show unwatchable or unworthy that much is true. I take issue with humanity's inability, in general, to deal with a natural part of our existence i.e. sexuality and physical intimacy no matter the orientation. On the other hand, actors should also have autonomy in deciding what kind of touch they are comfortable with, I recognize that's another dimension of this.

I get there are people who feel they are owed, the people that are into fan service, most likely. I hate fan service, it's so exploitative.

There are straight dramas I've watched (Korean/Chinese especially) that are frustratingly prudish and I definitely complain about them, mostly quietly to myself though 😀. Prudishness is a personal peeve of mine, so I take it too personally sometimes lol.

There's a difference between no kissing and ruining the development of the story line with no kissing, because of prudishness and censorship. Yes it does leave a sour taste, when it's plain to see there was no other reason than hang-ups about sexuality preventing cohesive storytelling. It's jarring as heck.

This one seems to have 10 episodes not 12, so there's some hope maybe. The producers should really learn to make the series precisely as many episodes, as it takes to make a story complete. Are they trying to be Korea that's obsessed with the 16 episode dramas or Americans who never know when to stop milking their tv shows, and disappoint their viewers in the process, please do better.
