Yeah, I went and reread the wiki entry. I was too quick at first and thought it had already been shown in cinemas and this was the web premiere or something. Still have to wait some more 🙁. "The film premiered at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival on November 17, 2022, and it will be officially released in Taiwan on February 10, 2023."
Lol! I can understand that it sounds weird to you, with the tonality and nasal sounds. It's not my favorite language…
Liking or not liking the sound of a language does not mean you despise the culture. The sound of a language does not equal a country, a culture or the people. I repeat, your analogy is not valid. Again, Taegeuk was insensitive, and there's of course issues of racism within Asia, where southeast Asia is considered lesser than the northern countries, so I can kind of understand you jumping into conclusions if a Korean says unflattering things about the Thai language.

Taegeuk's comment was insensitive and a bit of an overreaction, but not the end of the world. Languages are a bit like music, you might not like the sound of everything. I'm not into Chinese opera for example, also I don't like the sound of German. I speak a little Chinese and quite a lot of German by the way, so I'm not commenting out of total ignorance. It's okay to point out that Taegeuk was insensitive, but there's no need for you to go on a crusade over this. That's a bit much.
Is there a dubbed version? Preferably in Korean so I don't need subs - The thai language is hard on my ears, I…
Lol! I can understand that it sounds weird to you, with the tonality and nasal sounds. It's not my favorite language to listen to either, but it's not that bad. Languages that are different from what you're used to can be a bit strange to listen to. I'd suggest desensitization, just force yourself to listen to it, and soon you wont notice it as much. Korean can also be funny sounding, when it's spoken in the front of the mouth, it can make the speaker sound like a toddler who's about to suck their thumb. My native Finnish can sound monotone, like it's coming out of a tranquilized zombie. It's all relative 😃.
Just finished it. This is now my standard for BL dramas in terms of intimate relationships.
KinnPorche is a good one, everyone was dying to see it when it first aired, high production value too.
You might also like Not Me (2021) from Thailand. It's rated 8.5. on Mydramalist, it's rare for Thai shows to get that high ratings here. I haven't watched it yet because I didn't like another series with the main actors "Theory of Love" I just found that one a bit boring. Not Me looks different though and I've heard good things.
There are many BL shows that aren't that well made unfortunately. Anything 8 and above on my own watchlist is, at the very least, a good production, I think 😃 7.5. I've given to shows that I thought were just OK. Checking out other people's watchlists is a good way to find new shows to watch, by the way.

You're welcome. Another popular BL from the Philippines is Gameboys. I haven't seen it, but people seem to like it a lot.
My personal favorites are probably We Best Love (second season of this show is called Fighting Mr Second) and Bad Buddy. Some shows I give high ratings, because I can appreciate how good they are, even if I don't love them the same. Rating is difficult LOL.

Other really good ones are:
KinnPorsche/Thailand Love Mechanics/Thailand (Edit the 2022 version, not the En of Love 2020) We Best Love/Taiwan Utsukushii Kare/Japan Cherry Magic (30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii)/Japan Like in the Movies/Philippines Light on Me/South-Korea Semantic Error/South-Korea Blueming/South-Korea
It's true though that South-Korean Japanese and Chinese dramas don't portray much sexual intimacy, the others are more relaxed about that subject. On this list KinnPorsche really goes for it.

Best Thai BLs are I Told Sunset About You and Bad Buddy. The first is a world class production in any genre and the second is a light hearted but heartfelt love story.
Thoughts: -Kamol's haircut is awful, so awful. Hair Crimes Division help! Kamol should look rougher around the edges anyways, not so young and such a baby face. So many baby faces around actually. Bad casting I'd say. Kim I get, the other guy nah! The show is silly anyways, so it would have been nice to have believable main characters at least. -Why does it look like the mob boss lives in a closet above the stairs, with a dirty door and a tiny TV no less? That house is big. Everyone would still hear their kink in the lobby.
At least this is watchable, Big Dragon and Ai Long Nhai were not. 😂 🙃😮 I cannot believe this turned out to be more watchable than those two.
This is good. I was reluctant to begin watching, but this isn't the mediocre show I thought it was gonna be. That moment Ji Ho Joon realizes how he is into his roommate, that expression on his face is really good 😉.
It's got quality. Good acting, directing and script. Solid 8.
At no point was it hard to watch. Some people have said that in the last episode Ro A behaved out of character, but that's not true, what he did was very much like him. The only slight issue was that the last episode didn't flow as well as it could have.
This was a good show. I just finished watching it. I don't know what the hive mind hate was about, but it was uncalled for. Since I wasn't influenced by any 'scandal' or whatever happened, I can honestly say there were no issues with the acting.

......... 6+ hours to go till the next episode 😊
