People want to share their negative opinions, because they feel like doing it, just like when you feel like fawning over something that you do like. Gushing over something you like isn't any more meaningful than complaining about something you don't like. The comments are open for both.

Argue against their points, if you want to, but, ganging up on them and saying "Why are you even here then, if you don't like it." is childlish.

The person you were complaining about, was asking if this show is more of the same, or an improvement. There's nothing weird about being curious. If someone ends up not liking the series, it's their business. We don't have to butt in and tell them they should have stayed away to begin with 🙂. It sounds whiny and pointless to be honest.

2. People can be here even if they don't generally like MAME, because the world is not black and white. It is tiring that some people think there is no gray area. You do not have to be an uncritical fan to watch a show.

Boss has a more commanding presence and Rain's character is a bit childlish, so it's easy to overlook Noeul, but judging pure skill, I'd say Noeul is the better actor.

It's one of the better ones, if not the best from her. There's a few times you just have to roll your eyes and go "whatever MAME", but I'd watch and decide for yourself. It's not too serious or intellectual, just fun.

Also, it's good to remember that Phayu and Rain's relationship has elements of Dom/sub in it. Phayu does generally(should be always) give Rain an out from what's happening, and a punishment is not an unpleasant concept for the sub, the Dom's job is actually to please the sub. Of course, it's by MAME, so there's hits and misses in the Dom/sub dynamics.

You can scoff at me then, to your hearts content, because I'm sticking with my opinion. Tharntype is written to be steamy, it kinda looks like it is steamy with the choreography, but I don't find it convincing. It feels like they are just going through the motions, not connecting.

Edit. I guess it has to be explictly stated to make sure, I'm not some crazy shipper. I'm just not feeling their acting.

2. Boss's acting: there were moments that were bad, but also others that worked amazing (especially when Phayu flirted with Rain). So I partially agree with you.
3. Rain was too childlish at times.
4. LOL There was plenty of emotion in their sex scenes. It's legit funny how much I disagree here. The script during the sex scenes wasn't always the best though. Tharntype was the boring one for me, bad acting in general and not that much chemistry.
5. Silly raining cats and dogs scenes (there could have been less water all around) and stupid kidnapping, yeah agree.

There's only been a few actual incidents here. Expressing negative or critical opinions and feelings about a show should not be a problem in general. We should not expect everyone to be a sycophant just to make other people happy. 🙂

It's translated, but saying it's well done is pushing it. It's readable that's all.

It's especially language learners that aren't all that fluent yet that have a hard time letting go of their own language when translating. The target language here is English, so you are supposed to use standard English conventions (grammar and idioms). It can feel like you're bulldozing your own culture, but that's what you have to do. Obviously you wont have to get rid of all cultural refrences, but a surprising amount falls away when you change the language. One of the translation mistakes that seems to be so widespread it's iconic at this point is "I will go first." for I'll go home now, see you later./I'll be going now. etc.
