That NC scene... Rain becoming more proactive... my gosh... if the level of editing kept up with the level of…
It's not perfect. It's a shame that there are so many minor misses that could have been eliminated and or rethought. It's like they were in a hurry or something. Still like it, but I'm not blind. Rolling my eyes at the 2 to 3 thrust choice lol.

Okay Sirs... cough, cough, ahem...cough...!

Just...Come on Boss, will you stop trying to provoke cerebrovascular accidents, all casual like.

So Rain got kidnapped, whatever, no biggie!

For everyone considering watching this: do. I'm not saying you'll like it, you might not, but if you aren't sure…
I like it, even though Mame is not my favourite. I mean it hits me in the feels like We Best Love and Bad Buddy, go figure. So yeah, judge for yourself.

Someone told me she is part of the D/s community. In all honesty that seems to make sense and also explains why…
Just let him wallow in his superiour worldliness to which the rest of us ignoramuses can only ever aspire to. He's not worth the hassle. He likes to wilfully misunderstand things to provoke a reaction, like with your perfectly valid reference to expectations in the BDSM community.

I'd like to understand why MAME writes couples where one of the guys acts like he's the other's father.
Because she writes in elements of kink without telling you that's what she is doing. At some point watching "Love By Chance 2: A Chance to Love" (2020) I wanted to stuff a pacifier (i.e. binky, wookie, dummy, soother) into Can's mouth and be done with it, he was giving off such Little Boy vibes.

On the other hand, there's plenty of romances, straight and LGBTQ+, where one person is infantilized to a ridiculous degree for no apparent reason... Except what, women and twinks are dimwits by default and that's supposedly cute?

At this point, it's clear that so many people don't know about bdsm D/s etc. that having it discussed on screen would remove over half the complaining and confusion among the viewers. It would also remove some of my personal irritation, even though I know the basics ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคช ๐Ÿ˜€.

This show is so funny to me cause like it doesn't make sense. Payu saying Rain left scratch marks on his back…
It was a bit funny, since Rain literally had marks on his chest when he woke up.

Title Love in the Air Spoiler
someone care to explain to me why is rain suddenly deadset to make payu fall for him? it's like one moment he…
Rain was mad at Phayu, because Rain had such a strong reaction to being around Phayu, but Rain felt that Phayu was just playing with him, that Phayu didn't have the same intense feelings for Rain. So Rain bit Phayu as if to say: You don't have all the power in this relationship, I'm not worth any less than you Phayu. That's why Rain also said, I'm going to make you fall in love with me.

Rain: That guy is hot, wait what? I'm confused now.
Phayu: The way you are hitting on me, isn't very artfull, but I'm into you. Let's have some casual sex maybe?
Rain: I'm not into you, you lunatic.
Phayu: Well, that's an obvious lie, but I think you're cute, maybe we could have a more serious relationship. Let me show you how you clearly think I'm hot as hell.
Rain: Damn, I guess I do think you're sexy. Why are you so calm about this situation. I'm going to make you crazy too, see if I don't. I'll make you love me.
Phayu: Bring it on. It will only help you see how good we could be together. The bonus is, you won't even notice I'm chasing you, trying to make you fall for me, not the other way around.
Rain: This hitting on a guy stuff is difficult, also I like being around you. Well, damn.
Phayu: I like you. Do you even really realise how you feel about me? Can you be serious about me? We can't just play games that distract you to the point of you not doing your schoolwork. Maybe you should just leave me be.
Rain: Hell to the NO! I think I do want you. I guess I need to get my sh*t together. I won't be ignored.
Phayu: So we are doing this together thing then, that's great. Can we do something about this "I think you're sexy situation" we've got going on?
Rain: Yes, It's pretty great. Yes, might as well do something about that...I guess??? Yes. Yes. Yes!

I meant, if we are splitting hairs, I'm not 100% sure, how I feel. Was it D/s or more like a Yaoi noncon situation etc.

You might be missing the Dom stuff Phayu is throwing at Rain. I wrote about this earlier. Also, Mame is muddling…
I thought Mame has always been for the general BL audience, which is why I think it would be nice to show a clearer framework for the D/s dynamic. I just think it wouldn't hurt. Also, full disclosure, I do take issue with Mame sometimes, but I don't hate watch anything, that would be boring, I think.๐Ÿ˜„

I do agree that it can be frustrating to have to be "correct" about everything all the time to cater to viewers who don't know what's going on. ๐Ÿ™„

Wow! I've received a lot of ugly responses and posts because I hinted that the "forced" suppository scene was…
Mame has never been good with the meaning of "NO". She doesn't do her kink quite right.

This is one of her better D/s dynamics, but it's uncomfortable to watch sometimes, especially because D/s is one place where "No" and "Stop" don't always mean "No" and "Stop". What that means is people can use "No", "Stop" playfully, and the confusion could lead to D/s play ending when the sub doesn't really want it to. But when "No" and "Stop" aren't meant to end a D/s scene, it has to be specifically agreed beforehand that the words don't mean an end, and that there are 'safe words' that can be used to make it end instead. Still, even then the Dom should be able to read the sub well enough to know to cease even if the sub says No/Stop instead of the agreed upon "safe words".

I don't know quite what to make of the "Take your medicine scene". I mean I don't know what the intent of the author was there.
(Again, I'm no expert on this subject)

Also, even though this is 18+, there's sure to be kids watching this. So that's one more reason, I think they should have had a little talk about consent to D/s dynamics.

A lot of people seem to think Phayu is kinda predatory. The thing is that in a Dom/sub relationship the Dom takes care of the sub, and does what the sub finds pleasurable, 'a punishment' in this context isn't actually exactly unpleasant for the sub. You can see Rain smiling when he's texting with Phayu about getting a reward or a punishment depending on whether he gets a good or a bad grade on his exam. Rain is happy thinking about the possible punishment as well as the reward.
Rain alternates between challenging Phayu and obeying him, because he wants to.

You said :"I disagree that we need to have an explicit conversation about their limits or even a verbal agreement onscreen. "

The main reason I think they should've talked about this on screen, is that there are people watching that don't know anything about D/s, not even enough to know that's what's going on here. A lot of people see Phayu as predatory. I doubt they all know that a Dom does what the sub finds pleasurable, and that 'a punishment' isn't actually entirely unpleasant for the sub.

Also, some viewers are absolute kids, who know nothing about anything.

I'm just smh! Obviously, I'm missing something. Here's my dilemma. Your "boyfriend" shows up at your house, berates…
You might be missing the Dom stuff Phayu is throwing at Rain. I wrote about this earlier. Also, Mame is muddling the water with her own interpretation of D/s. They didn't even talk about having this kind of relationship, what are their limits and such. The kink is just there, and sometimes the representation isn't the best.

Phayu is like: "You didn't let me take care of you. Don't you know how that made me feel? Now take your punishment." But again Rain has not agreed to having any kind of a Dom. Not once from the beginning, where Phayu gave him a form of "safe words" in the bathroom. "Tell Phayu to let Rain go." to which Rain said "No" as in I will not tell you to let me go i.e. Rain gave a sort of a consent to that Dom/sub scene.

If the difference in nuance is in fact great, it needs to be reflected in the translation. Otherwise it's an actual translation error.

For example, in my mothertongue all people are regularly called an 'it', not she or he.
Nobody would translate this into English literally, because 'it' has a different connotation for English speakers, calling someone an 'it' is disrespectful in English, while it's completely neutral in my mothertongue.

For example: Sara is a smart woman, it studies medicine. Or worse: That man is disabled, it's got red shoes.

An English speaker would stop and try to puzzle out the sentences when there's nothing to puzzle out.
