To be fair, some of the noncon is labeled a bad thing by her. She is constantly writing noncon, rape, rapey scenes/characters. Everybody knows that's her thing, but it really is enough already.

I guess hope springs eternal. With MAME there's a promise of a good story, and we are just hoping for the best once again.

On the other hand, it's such an established fact that MAME stories are problematic, people just take it as a given, so I guess it's not even reflected in their scoring anymore. I'm so over her, I just file all of it under unacceptable MAME BS, and go on with my life watching her shows if they look interesting.

I like the show, even though I'm itching to give Rain a haircut 🙃.

I have no love for MAME. In her books she throws the story off the rails with her issues with sex. She writes obvious rape scenes that she tries to sell as normal, there's no way around that fact. The continuing disconnect with the fun and the rapey behaviour is extra irritating, why can't she just freaking stop already. Luckily the shows don't go that far, so I can deal, and enjoy the entertaining parts that she comes up with.

For me in Until We Meet Again, the magic of WinTeam was defined by two scenes.

1.The one were Team goes to Win's room at night, because he can't sleep and being with Win gives him peace. The concept was lovely, they did write it well and the acting was okay.
2.The other scene was the one where they were in the cabin at the trip to the waterfall and Win asks Team to not run, to not be afraid. It wasn't acted as well, but the idea in the scene was sweet.
I'm a sucker for a you give my soul peace and set my body on fire type of storyline.

This show is all over the place. Also, I hope the guys can level up their acting like in Love Mechanics, because honestly it was never the most impressive thing, no matter how much I like them.

No problem. 😀 Well, when I was a kid, I got graded from 10 to 4 at school, 4 was a fail. So instinctively that's the scale I relate things to myself, I suppose, 10 to 1 is just too finicky. It must be different for everyone, like the guys who are used to scales like A to F and whatnot. But basically, anything below 8 is somewhat suspect.

A rating of 8 and above is pretty much a guarantee for quality, especially for Thai shows. I like this version a lot more than the previous one. It's well made, even though there are issues with their first night together (nonconsensual). This time the acting really works. The previous 'En of Love' -series of which 'Love Mechanics' is part of, was nearly unbearable, apart from the 'Love Mechanics' bit.)

The acting is much better than I expected. There's real depth in the emotions.

The annoying thing about the soundtrack is that they keep playing something that sounds vaguely like 'You Raised Me Up' and it won't leave me alone 😣...

Rape is unwanted OR forced 'sex' – OR 'sex' that happened without consent. CONSENT means actively agreeing to be sexual with someone and lets them know that sex is wanted. Sexual activity without consent is rape or sexual assault.

Someone doesn’t have the freedom and capacity to agree to sexual activity by choice if:
1. They are asleep or unconscious.
2. They are DRUNK or ‘on’ drugs. -MARK
3. They have been ‘spiked’.
4. They are too young.
5. They have a mental health disorder or illness that means they are unable
to make a choice.
6. They are being pressured, bullied, manipulated, TRICKED or scared into
saying 'yes’. - MARK
7. The other person is using physical force against them.

Here Mark consented to sex with Bar NOT with Vee. Also, Mark's ability to consent to anything in the first place, was seriously in question since he was drunk out of his mind. People who are really drunk or unconscious can't give consent. Again, there doesn't need to be force or violence for it to be rape. You should recheck your own understanding of rape and consent.

I'm kinda over the whole "I worship you" trope, but this looks nice regardless 😀.

Two other BL series from South Korea that are a lot like the Japanese ones are
'Semantic Error' and 'Light on Me'. They are really good.

That just means you missed a really good scene after the main couple get out of the club till the end of the episode, unless you just a skipped bits of course. Also, how are the characters poorly thought out exactly? That's two people who are hiding, their problems stemming from fear and bad communication, one lives a double life and the other just locks everything inside himself.

I'd agree that the first half of the episode was a bit draggy, and that the script could use a little polishing in some parts, but it does look like the story is about to really get going now.
