The sex scenes and the arguments are both so badly done. 10 eps in and they're STILL like this? None of the couples know how to talk to each other properly tbh, but Fah and Sher are unbearable sometimes.
It's a good series overall, I just think it went down a bit from episode 8 or 9. Looking back, RainPhayu had my fav arc because the writing of PrapaiSky was too rushed in the end. Like TT, the rape plot was too brushed over. It wasn't terrible so I give it 8.5 stars. 9 stars and up is for near masterpieces.
As someone who read the novel and has been waiting a while for that beating, I feel a bit underwhelmed. And the bloody face makeup? I had to laugh. I'm sorry, it just was not very convincing. He also ONLY gave him a few sucker punches and pulled out ONE piercing. What about the earrings? Call me crazy, but he should've ripped them out too. Made it hurt, made him feel worse than what he did to Sky. And hello, what about kicks? We were given feet for a reason, make use of them!
why are they (whoever made the script) pretending payu looks like his brother?? like havent there been two scenes…
They really did a terrible job with the sibling casting, especially sine they're supposed to be twins. Saifah looks like he could be 5 years Phayu's senior.
Right?? I think I agree with everything you said. I saw Santa, and I was like, "what? really??" I honestly think…
If I remember correctly, Prem was portrayed as chubby in UWMA too, wasn't he? I honestly could never see the chubbiness they were talking about, I think he's quite slender. If they were talking about the fact that he had no 'oppa abs' or defined muscle, and his stomach wasn't paper flat when he sat down, then I don't know what to say. I just see them as unhealthy and toxic standards.
I could rant for ages about this too, but it's also unhealthy for young girls and boys to see these standards about beauty. They almost completely obliterated my self confidence and self worth when I was 12-13, I have my Mother to thank for noticing that I was slipping into a rabbit hole. Mind you, I was never fat, but if you aren't pancake stomached and don't wear size 2 jeans and XXS t-shirts, you'll start thinking that you are, or that your body is somehow ugly and shameful. Terrible stuff to feed young minds.

Yeah, I thought so too. She was way cuter in UWMA (if she loves her body now though, that's great for her!) and really stuck out as my favourite female actor because she wasn't stick thin like every other one I've seen and seemed more normal. She was portrayed as fat in UWMA whereas in my opinion, she is NOT fat at all. And I live in the US, so I see a lot of fat people. There were a lot of 'jokes' about her being a pig, or eating too much in UWMA and tbh, that's the only thing I don't like about the series.
Like you said though, I guess it's just the Thai beauty standards. The top three things I see promoted by Thai influencers and actors are skincare companies, weight loss clinics, and food companies (GMMTV anyone?). She was promoting a weight loss clinic on her tiktok and I think she said she lost like 20-something kg? So if it makes her feel more confident, fantastic! I personaly think she looked better in UWMA, but at the end of the day, nobody else's opinion matters if you love yourself.
