A bit disappointed that they'll have Thomas again playing the disdainful gorgeous guy while Kong comes off like…
So agree...but to expect Thai BLs, or for that matter, most BLs, to veer off the tropes is ..well...like expecting muggles to do magic.....and yes, I would watch it anyway as well...lol
he he ...not at all...I would want to try out a few 3d ideas for sure (some from Studio Ghibli stables for sure)...but will be more for myself and may not go out to flash it though...Yes, it is most likely going to be a punk disaster, but I'm now gone beyond caring too much for validations
This is very much Thai in every way tho, Siam is featured so well, Thai youth culture is the core of the show.…
Hey! I want to clarify here, just in case you get the wrong message....I loooove Thai shows....what I meant is that this show is very different from the usual Thai BLs I have watched.
umm....it's okay to be where you are and express that....I'm personally good with guy/ girl,/most kinds, as long as I don't sense disrespect....then again, if something triggers, it's alright to request not to use that word....some others might find that offensive or problematic, that's okay too.....we all have our own perspectives and takes and all of it is valid ...
all that apart, I love the political incorrectness in this show so far....vaguely reminds me of Love Sick 2014, though that was way milder when compared to the angst and tension I see in this one so far...I'm sure I'll enjoy this show....immaterial to whether I hail from gen x,y,z,..... :D
he he....I hear you...the present times have got almost nauseatingly politically correct, I'm afraid...probably that's why this show appeals so much ...lol
I actually like it, though the script and editing could have been much better....they have tried to deal with difficult subjects and themes like trust issues, betrayal trauma, possibly also (borderline?) schizophrenia....
The slippery slope of damaged mental health is something which might feel as disjoint and confusing as this storyline and its narration probably seems like to many who have commented here....and understandably so....the show needed much better editing to keep people glued with such a narrative...but I'm glad that they are trying something like this....and hope that the next few episodes will help structure the narrative better...
I loved Anti-reset.....eagerly waiting for this one...I have a feeling that this kind of Human-AI companionship/friendships will become a reality much quicker than we anticipate
Awww... I'm glad to make you laugh by tearing apart a show you loved! :) But then, I have been known to enjoy…
better still, they should cast you in the sequel as the deaf Senpai who teaches Kouhei 'advanced' sign language....one who uses dramatic and intensely manipulative ways to try and drive a rift between Kouhei and Taichi (I'm squealing at the very thought of how Kakkoii that would be)..And then I'm sure you will be infinitely more entertaining than Maya...but off course, will eventually be defeated by all the bento (strictly wooden)-food-art, umai, nande, da suki da, visiting onsen, wearing appropriately drab yukatas, and deeply looking into each other's eyes (without kissing)...:D
I haven't watched that series @House of Stars..should I?...and isn't most Thai shows campy anyway? that's part of the charm to start with...

he he...I loved how you did that @tear it apart...and actually agree to a lot of it....but I remain a stan for Taichi-Kouhei....being a sucker for all things sappy ...and I would be the first in line to watch if they make a sequel, which, hopefully they will...in the meanwhile, I am looking for the manga 😁
Hey! Thank you so much...I'm glad that we feel similarly about this beautiful series. About the empty profile,…
Yes, absolutely agreed @low budget...and TBH, I do not focus too much on the production values as long as I have a good script, storyline and chemistry between the leads....and erm, whether I like looking at the leads...🤭
Thank you so much for the suggestions...these are good to go for now. I will catch up on these and may be add my reviews. If you shave some names for BLs from Burma, do share them...we can at times look at unusual places to unearth missing shows...

@KBLs...when I started watching them (not very long ago) my expectations were high because everyone seem to be talking about KDramas...after watching a few, I was like...eh..the world is this hooked to 'fake'?...I mean it is okay to like them at ti mes, as time-pass, non-challenging, conforming, easy-watches..but such hype!!!!
@Real gems, do you have a top 3 that I can start with? I would be very interested in Myanmar in particular, but all the others too
@Honglou -I am catching up on many of his reviews...the conversation-reviews are the best....I'm cracking up like crazy!!!!
And...err.....I was actually thinking maybe I should try a moderate version of the nail thing :P:P

House of Stars...let me line it up

Thanks for all the effort you take to talk about lesser-known shows. 💗
I can imagine why it is not so popular...😂
