Yes, you could say that I'm a BL addict...ha ha...but even beyond that, I love Asian drama.
Its quite understandable that the producer of this show would target it at a Thai-only audience, but thanks to BLs I have now come to love Thai shows, including the culture, tropes, and language...so yes, a big supporter of Thai entertainment industry....among the non-BL Thai shows/movies that I have watched, 'How to Make Millions Befor Grandma Dies' really really impressed me...I had started watching it because of Bilkin (I had loved him in the BL ITSAY) but ended up really floored by that movie...similarly when I saw that this has Pond in it, and it has an interesting storyline, I wanted to watch it even though it isn't a BL,...but couldn't find a subbed version.
Lol..as a self-proclaimed BL-fanatic, I totally get what you mean... I have been eyeing this for sometime...but just don't seem to find a subbed version...any clues to that end?
A bit disappointed that they'll have Thomas again playing the disdainful gorgeous guy while Kong comes off like…
So agree...but to expect Thai BLs, or for that matter, most BLs, to veer off the tropes is ..well...like expecting muggles to do magic.....and yes, I would watch it anyway as well...lol
he he ...not at all...I would want to try out a few 3d ideas for sure (some from Studio Ghibli stables for sure)...but will be more for myself and may not go out to flash it though...Yes, it is most likely going to be a punk disaster, but I'm now gone beyond caring too much for validations
This is very much Thai in every way tho, Siam is featured so well, Thai youth culture is the core of the show.…
Hey! I want to clarify here, just in case you get the wrong message....I loooove Thai shows....what I meant is that this show is very different from the usual Thai BLs I have watched.
umm....it's okay to be where you are and express that....I'm personally good with guy/ girl,/most kinds, as long as I don't sense disrespect....then again, if something triggers, it's alright to request not to use that word....some others might find that offensive or problematic, that's okay too.....we all have our own perspectives and takes and all of it is valid ...
all that apart, I love the political incorrectness in this show so far....vaguely reminds me of Love Sick 2014, though that was way milder when compared to the angst and tension I see in this one so far...I'm sure I'll enjoy this show....immaterial to whether I hail from gen x,y,z,..... :D
he he....I hear you...the present times have got almost nauseatingly politically correct, I'm afraid...probably that's why this show appeals so much ...lol
I actually like it, though the script and editing could have been much better....they have tried to deal with difficult subjects and themes like trust issues, betrayal trauma, possibly also (borderline?) schizophrenia....
The slippery slope of damaged mental health is something which might feel as disjoint and confusing as this storyline and its narration probably seems like to many who have commented here....and understandably so....the show needed much better editing to keep people glued with such a narrative...but I'm glad that they are trying something like this....and hope that the next few episodes will help structure the narrative better...

And...err.....I was actually thinking maybe I should try a moderate version of the nail thing :P:P
