You know a drama is truly a 10/10 when it gets you so emotionally invested that you start crying like a baby—not just a few tears. I haven’t cried in years over a drama. It was a masterpiece. I got so immersed that the characters felt like real people, not just fictional creations.
It got a bit confusing when the gangster scene appeared, followed by the bookstore closure. It took me some time to figure out if it was the backstory Rat was telling them or if it was happening in 1991.

It is a masterpiece because it has 12 episodes. If it had more, the pacing would slow down, and it might feel dragged out. The best thing about having 12 episodes is that there are no filler episodes.
I think episode 8 was their real backstory before the mailbox part, and I hope the story of the letter and all the other confusions will be cleared up in the upcoming episodes.
I cried uncontrollably through every second of episode 8, oh my GOD! Their chemistry is incredible. ZY's acting during the crying scene was amazing. This is definitely my favorite drama of 2025 so far.
I really hope this time-space trope can alter their ending in the present, because as it stands, their ending seems bound to be tragic, and I’m just not ready for that. .
It seems like Yuhang isn’t interested in Yifan, but why can’t he just reject her instead of taking the pressure and being overly kind? It’s not fair to Yifan. And why does Chichi always have to make the first move? I wouldn’t mind if it were one-sided, but it seems mutual, so Yuhang comes across as extremely passive. At this point, if he doesn’t approach or show some initiative, he might end up losing Chichi too. Really looking forward to seeing how his dates turn out.
