I like the show, but this whole episode was just stupid. It’s easy to sum it up under “all for nothing”.
Another rant: Why is everyone only criticizing the FL, when it’s the ML who is going to backstab her?
Even if he doesn’t do it directly, he was the one who went there, brought up the idea and own the Motto (technically speaking), so he could stop it anytime he wants?
She did the silly thing with the ex, but she was open about it. And she is not dating the ML, so there is no responsibility. Meanwhile, he as the partner in their project does bear the responsibility for the contract they have.

Another FL who was used in the past, yet allows it again. Why should you care what your former chef or ex think after ruining your career?
Also the ML.. he acts as he cares for the FL, yet he can’t tell his employee not to touch anything at the new place. He cant tell the new employees to hide classified information and stay quiet about someone else’s recipes and hard work.
He was even able to fly so far away, yet he didn’t say anything useful. In the end, they will steal it and he will remain silent once more.
Also how could someone just go around blabbering about other people’s secrets?
It’s been a while since I have finished a historical k-drama so quickly!
The story, the production, visuals and acting were AMAZING!
Usually I tend to lose focus and subconsciously move to my phone while watching show that have a dragging narrative, but this one has kept me on my toes and I simply like it!
Highly recommended to anyone still wondering or with similar issues!
I love the story and acting so far, it’s good to finally have a story for us Millennials as well xDThese days…
The only thing I don’t understand in kdramas with a similar narrative, how is becoming a bad person (or in this case a mess) instead of a cheating partner saving your face?
Everyone stares at you, everyone is judging you and brands you as a loser anyway.. so how did you save your image? It gets ruined and the other person gets a clean slate for a new start with the other person.
I think it’s better for your pride to be a victim as then people leave you be..
For a deity that is super old, GC has no wisdom or logic in him. He acts as someone powerful when everything is peaceful, yet when there is an issue he’s weak and can’t use any of his powers.
“The low spirit”, yet he gets beaten up by it. Like.. where are those powers of his?
I find it fascinating how my perception on the story has changed after growing up.
Way back then, I have shared their pain.. but now: - Wu Bi is an attention w*ore who can’t stand not being in the center, regardless of his father or Su Yu. - He thinks that it would be so great living like the poor folk, yet he doesn’t understand they have no time for their kids either. Duoduo was taken to school by her jobless neighbour, not mom. Yet, WB didnt mind spending his fathers money, ofc
- Su Yu has a jobless and gambling addicted father, who could purchase him a new uniform if he didn’t spend it on lotter or scams. Yet he thinks his mother is a problem. - She had a normal reaction to terrible conditions, so she did her best to change them. He needs a scholarship, yet puts his pride over an opportunity to change his life. Way too emotional.
It was a show with huge potential! It had two simultaneous stories, one hetero and one homo love.. making it perfect for both the niche and mainstream audience.
However, they have dragged out the BL story to the hell and back. The whole story was just about a coward and a pusher. The relationship was squeezed only by the ending.
It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t give me butterflies as other shows do!
He is obviously connected to the orphanage and Yang was covering for him.
But the last scene was funny! The dude was dying and he was just staring at the TV instead of calling doctors…

Another stiry where two guys think they can screw someone over and that’s fine. But they ll act all moral when someone else does it…

I can’t wait for more!
Is that a hint for the second season or another spin off?

Did she kill or kidnap the boy and then groomed the ML to replace him?
She knew everything about the boy, so she could adjust it and then take over the whole clan.
The FL’ s fiancée was cheating on her, so she initiated the break up to “save her face”.
We still don’t know much about the ML’s side of the story.
But it’s fun all in all!

These days I was struggling to watch anything as it felt out of my preference scope… so cheers! ^^
YeoRi knows from the first episode that someone from the inside was supporting the evil spirit. She even had a name, yet she never brought it up.
She came across a blind shaman and she felt his presence, yet she never gave it a second thought despite knowing shamans are forbidden.
Like a bit of brain will do the magic…

Ahhhh the adulthood xD
The other likes a guy and wants to get close to him.. so pretends to be another str8 guy. Who would even consider you then?
