I’m happy that she’s moving forward in time and that they didn’t drag the story, despite the situation in the ep 4. She was a bit noisy and got burnt.
On the other hand, the whole process is funny as she’s literally by all means the most suitable. Her dad has the political position and money, so even the villain can’t compete in that regard. So it shouldn’t be overly difficult..
I started with high hoped, but the very first episode was a bit.. challenging to finish.
The whole sister thing.. going somewhere unknown without telling her brother. She saw how shabby it was, she went in. She heard screams and instead of calling for help, she went in - knowing she can’t do a single thing.
And then she didn’t even know how to walk back, even though her life was depending on it.
Ahhh what’s happening with kdramas these days? They are all frustrating…I feel like the writers want to have…
I loved how both sisters represented fighters, despite all the hardships they went through.
But now, all I see is them creating these hardships for themselves from the very beginning.
The final touch was the last scene with Ho Su.. she went off on him about how he’s confusing her, yet she’s the one lying to his face. She doesn’t trust him to open up and ask for help, yet she is now playing with his emotions.. despite knowing how hard it must be for him to open up.
I am getting a bit tired of these storylines with “oh poor me” characters who have no issues with making others miserable along the way.
He’s the owner/ boss of Motto. So if he tells his employees not to steal - they shouldn’t do it. How can you…
Also, it’s kind of stupid how he is regretting it only once everything was over. And he is giving on power only now when he actually needs it to protect Yeon Ju.
Whats the point of being nice to a person you stab? One smile won’t stop the bleeding..

I get what you mean, but in a way it served as a purpose to give a background to Yeon Ju - the way she was betrayed by the first boyfriend, which will add to her pain once it happens with the second one.
Also, there is no space for his redemption.
He has shady past. He was the reason her restaurant was burnt, he was the one who has placed the target on her back. He came to steal her recipes and allowed his stuff to do it. He even ruined her opportunity to maybe go back to Le Murir, which would be a good alternative if his family ruins her completely.
He knew and knows everything, yet he never says a thing. He acts all nice, but is building even bigger hole for her to fall in.
Also, how can another chef go between two competitors without no one stopping her, even when she obviously lacks the talent.
Yet no one had an idea to offer Yeon Ju the job - she has looks and skills, even better for the business.
So it’s a but stupid how the storyline is going. Even the whole ex situation has more sense.
I’m sorry, but Han Beom Woo is the villain in this show. The whole story is so all over the place and the logic…
He’s the owner/ boss of Motto. So if he tells his employees not to steal - they shouldn’t do it. How can you do something over your boss and think you ll get with it?
Also to think so easily of the law is just stupid.
HBW was the main creator of the idea, he knew from the very beginning what was going on and which issues might arise, yet he never said anything. He’s not that different from his brother.
Also it’s so funny how despite all the illegal stuff going on and his backstabbing behavior, people were bothered with Mo Yeon Ju talking to her ex.. lol
I guess she should ask HBW for forgiveness once he destroys her life?
It was a good show, but there were some small details throughout the story that were a bit distracting. I was wondering who would do such a thing or why didn’t producers handle some stuff differently.
But other than that.. a good watch!
The only small let down was a bit Kim Da Mi. I like her in pretty much everything, but I feel this didn’t suit her well. The character was super deep, yet I felt she couldn’t fully realize how to develop it.
Her eyes were popping out like she ll poop any moment. The character was a tomboy, yet she was speaking as if she was a 12 yo child, which didn’t suit the story or personality. She tried, but hmmm.. better luck next time!
“ Na Hui Ju is the brain behind the failure of No Mu Jin's office and his sister-in-law, who controls him. Hui Ju has no specific job, but she is quick-witted like a ghost when it comes to money-making matters, and she possesses excellent judgment and fiery fighting skills.” - if she’s that smart, how did the office fail?
Also this sounds a bit fetish like, having a focus on a guy and his sister-in-law.. knowing that there needs to be a chemistry for a show to work. Hmmm

Everything was obvious from the ep 7, but there were hints before.
This is jot something I usually discuss, as I don’t want to digress from the acting. However, I’m a bit sad that even Kim Da Mi was forced into plastic surgery.
She’s doing a good job as always, but sometimes it feels like she’s struggling with facial expressions.
Her eyes were enlarged a bit too much, almost as if they will pop out. I don’t care about other stuff as everyone else in the entertainment does it.. but this is a bit distracting.
She is a great actress and was beautiful from the start. I wish more agencies will learn to appreciate the raw talent and prioritize expression over just visual. In the end, sometimes it doesn’t even work if not done unnoticeable :(
(Not a hate post, I just wanted to point out she was beautiful and talented from the start, so I hope they won’t push her into anything else)

But dressed like this, he looks like a girl dressed in male clothing haha
He’s pretty
The story is good all in all, but they need to speak to each other.
“I ll tell you” is the worst thing you can say to someone who is going through your everyday life.
On the other hand, the other sister just loooves to make assumptions without checking anything about it.
GG and 2pm are always the perfect combo!
I hope it stays like this! ^^
And then she didn’t even know how to walk back, even though her life was depending on it.
Ehhhh…
He probably blames her along the way, but still finds a bit of sorry due to the way she is being treated as well.

I feel like the writers want to have some dynamics, but they just end up with stumbling stones on the storyline.
