I really like what you said at the end there, that Bai Ling was the soul of ACE and Lu Xiang is a soul singer of ACE. I was thinking the exact same thing! Honestly (and again, IF we get a season 2), I highly doubt that they will replace Lu Xiang. That would just make the drama have a bad ending. I mean, we are following the character development of Lu Xiang throughout the drama, and to suddenly say: "oh, we have someone to replace him!" won't really work. Also, I am a bit confused on how fast Lu Xiang will disappear. If you remember their dance instructor who also switched bodies, she gets to keep the younger body until the other one gets old and eventually dies. Sudden thought, but won't it be the same for Lu Xiang? So technically, he could live at Lu Xiang for as long as he would've survived anyways, and then he would disappear. Correct me if I'm wrong, but then I think he would be able to stay in ACE for a pretty long time! What do you think?
No, don't be sorry! I totally agree with you! Lu Xiang has just started being recognized as his own person rather than being the shadow of Bai Ling. If he disappears soon that would definitely be hard on Bai Ying, but would also break apart ACE again. This is why we need a season 2!! I need to know what happens next! Also, do you remember the phone call Lu Xiang made to his (Lu Fei's) parents? He no longer has his family by his side... I feel like they could have developed that part of the plot more. It could help show how tough of a decision it really was for him at the end. It would be great if the Season 2 elaborated on his family ties, his current relationship with You You, and how he plans to take care of the people around him before he disappears. I think I could get more closure that way.
Like you said, the hairstyle and the outfit matches Lu Xiang's style, but the real giveaway is his attitude... Lu Xiang reminds me of a child, in the sense that he is the cute, cheerful guy... much more in comparison to Bai Ling. In the scene with the headphones, it felt like a Lu Xiang thing to say and do. idk if I'm explaining it right... does it make more sense to you now?
Yeah, I just rewatched the scene... it's definitely Lu Xiang... I think Bai Ying is thinking back to the good times they've had together after they fought...
