Review The Red Line
I knew this was Thai from the third sentence, they do that well.

"the second half of the movie feeling a bit flat emotionally but ramping up with more action" - made for/with Netflix or did they just pick it up?

I didn't suggest you watch it though, did I? Only to think of it in terms of someone other than yourself and your own needs. Is your attention so precious you don't have a moment for that? And look at your reply - me, me, me. It's all about you. No wonder you didn't understand me.
Whichever he it is you're focused on, isn't it good to know he's getting work and his career is going well?

Oh come on. The BL crew don't own Pond and certainly not Film. There's hardly a shortage of handsome Thai actors acting in intimate ways if that's what you require.
Stepping out of the BL bubble for a role in a mainstream title (Bua and Film have solid lakorn creds) will likely help Boss' career. Can you not be happy for him for that?

Contest?
Director posted some dodgy things in social media chats with his friends about the actresses he was directing in Whale Store. GMMTV has publicly severed ties.
Death of Khun Phra aired before that.

please make this a spoiler. A lot of sites have been taken down.
They're legal. 100%. Compare the first link to the original network listed above. Both Thai PBS, right? I mentioned thaipbs in my text too.
vipa.me is Thai PBS' official legal (and free) streaming service.

Their sites can be awkward to navigate if you don't know Thai. Some of us who've gotten the hang of it keep direct links on title pages to make it easy to watch legally.

I am so happy that Thailand finally is starting to have these reality TV shows. I been wanting this similar show…
Thailand's made reality shows for a while now. You can dig some of them up on YT or a channel's streaming service. They won't be subbed though.
What's changed is the ease of international availability and subtitles.

Title Hard Nights
Vipa is working for me and I love the series! It's like a BL with actually good actors ;-) (lol)Unfortunately…
Noom, Tuck and Lift bring a lot of experience - they're all 30 years into their careers with dozens of roles. Several of the others are performers off screen as well. Lookwa primarily does musical theatre.
Thai PBS has been running approx a week behind on English subs - for those they're subbing, they've been adding English subs to the last episode(s) when they upload the new one. It's just over a week since this finished so we don't know what's going on.
If you can spare a moment to email them, here are the links to addresses. I don't know which would be best.

This better get an international release!! I need my old man yaoi!!!!!
Thai PBS programmes are available internationally from the start, though there's been a problem with watching through their vipa.me website for a few months.
Their VIPA app is working and the series is available there.

Okay, look I love them...... but LEGIT WHY ARE THEY EVERYWHERE TOGETHER. AT THIS POINT, I'M CONVINCED THEY ARE…
Their careers - they know how to sell their product. Gun's options as a main role actor are unfortunately limited by his (lack of) height.

When you watch stolen content, it gives the creators no revenue, no feedback, nothing. It is in YOUR interest to watch legally whenever possible, even if it's just to show those involved that you want to watch this sort of drama.
The lakorn is available - legally, free and subbed - on one31's official YT channel. There is no need or reason to watch a stolen copy.

Title Hard Nights
Did the excitement for this pass once the BL stans found out "Hard Nights" refers to insomnia? =D =D

Edit: Only subbed through ep 10, well that will put a damper on things.
Note to new viewers, it's very episodic, so it's not that big a deal to only watch part. Doesn't leave you hanging, at least through ep 10.
Currently a week since it finished airing, more subs might arrive soon? I hope.

Weds 25 March - English subbed through ep 14 (but not 15 or 16 yet)

Title Love in the Moonlight Spoiler
Pin had the best character development. It helps to understand it as a 12 hour lakorn (rather than a BL series)…
She knew Saenkaew didn't love her. She wasn't expecting to be loved in any marriage - she was just happy that she loved the man her father chose for her. She stated that very clearly a few times.
She went through with the marriage because the men gave her less than ONE DAY to come to terms with it all. Yeah, she needed a bit more time. How unbearably evil of her ::eyeroll:: Once she had that, she came round. She was always going to - she was kind and caring, and cared deeply for both Sasin and Saenkaew.
She didn't just "let" them marry - she & Gran performed the ceremony. And no, it's not nonsense. It was part of her growth, her journey into and out of great pain. It only appears to come out of nowhere if you ignore the rest of her story. Why are you so determined to do that?
And here you are asserting that I didn't explain things I did. You're doing to me what you did to the lakorn, glazing over everything which doesn't fit your preconceptions. Why? Ask yourself that. Why are you so invested in a narrow, sexist reading of a story?
You have missed SO much of this story. It's your choice now whether you want to hold onto your, idk anger, hate, whatever it is, or not.
