Here because I just saw Orm in Nakak on Thai PBS and really liked her... And Prigkhing is very much a favourite whether she's quiet Orange in Blacklist, girl chaos as Noinae or fangothing magic in Engima :)
It does. But fair warning, the hazing is normal (or was) in Thai universities so it's never portrayed as bullying…
I was feeling like the hazing would never end but fortunately it started easing up a bit after I posted. It wouldn't have been intentional but the "exaggerated for entertainment purposes" aspect of the bullying meant that's what the excuses were effectively associated with. I've made it to ep 10, where the focus is on Kongpob's feelings and Arthit's confusion and they're doing that well so it's winning me over.
Does the bullying let up? I'm on ep 6 and all that's changed is who's the target. This framework that it's for the targets' own good is an abuser's line too, internalised and passed on to the next generation. Should I drop it? It's a deeply uncomfortable experience to witness this being done, regardless of the disclaimer that it's "exaggerated for entertainment purposes."
Since there are so many First Khao shippers coming in with their feelings -- remember this was their minor series for 2023. Everything in it from them together is a bonus.
There is Firstkhao in this series but unfortunately their relationship starts very late so their screentime is…
This was their minor series for 2023. It's not depressing, it's a bonus :) And in a series with two other relationships no less.
We know they're going to be alright because they're each other's person in GMMTV metaphysics and it's ok we know it for the future rather than see it. P'Aof used that well to add to the completeness of his themes of loss and healing.
100000/10. Plot - flows very well. Theres drama, angst, passion, but somehow all imbued with a sense of restraint…
Love this review :) May I add that this gorgeous series is rich enough emotionally there's something for nearly everyone to resonate with and what comes to the fore depends on where we are in life. Jim and Wen have a different poignancy and rhythm than Li Ming and Heart.
Sometimes I watch it and things from Alan's and Gaipa's storylines speak most to me, other times it's Jim's or Wen's. The young ones, with their own struggles but as yet unscarred by love, are always welcome balance.
so they put the damsel who must be persuaded/forced into sex trope onto the over-worked salaryman being taken care of by his wife.... interesting choice :D

Has there been mention of a release date yet?
