The Warm Romance on Winter
Shine on Me follows a former neurosurgeon who becomes a solar energy executive and a bright young graduate who meet as office mate at a photovoltaic plant, gradually healing each other's past wounds and becoming each other's sunshine.I love the story, from the beginning till the end. Even though many people said the early episodes are boring, I actually enjoyed it. My favorites are the Shanghai wedding arc, I really loved their interactions and banters on those episodes.
Strangely, though, I felt less chemistry once they officially dating. Some moments felt a bit bland to me, including the kiss scenes. I also felt that the male lead’s acting lacked detail in certain scenes, though it wasn’t bad overall. The soundtracks wasn’t very memorable for me either.
Overall, I still love the storyline and how most of the characters were written.

Looks Like Luxury, but Ends Up Bland
The Art of Sarah tells the story of Sarah Kim, the Asia manager for the luxury bag brand Boudoir, and the detective investigating a corpse that is identified as her.Like its premise centered on a luxury brand, the series has an "expensive" vibe overall, at least in terms of the setting and directing, which really capture that high-end feel. The plot is actually interesting, but it fails to stay intriguing throughout the entire series. The ending feels bland, and many things are left unexplained. Still, Shin Hae Sun portrays the role perfectly with what she's given. I actually wish we could have seen more of the early "Sarah Kim."

The "Realest" Romance Born from a VR Game
Love Between Lines follows the story of two people who escape their daily lives by immersing themselves in VR murder mystery games set in Republic of China, where they first connect as strangers playing fictional roles. They unexpectedly meet again in real life, discovering each other's true identities and gradually offering mutual encouragement to move forward and face their personal struggles.Firstly, I absolutely adore the chemistry between Zhiyu and Hu Xiu, their interactions feel so natural and effortless, staying sweet and cute from those early awkward moments all the way through their dating era. CXX and LYX absolutely nailed their roles, their performances make every scene feel genuine and heart-fluttering.
The story is great too. The pacing is just right, not too fast, not too slow. They make excellent use of the VR game concept, not just as a gimmick in the early episodes but as a tool to build the narrative and deliver so many heartfelt and fun moments that strengthen the overall story.
I also appreciate how they didn’t rush Xiao Rou into a new relationship right after her divorce. Although I was a bit disappointed by how quickly she decided to break up with her husband, I fully support her new journey and growth.
Pei Zui’s storyline was handled quite well too.
The cinematography is top-notch and creates such a beautifull and memorable scenes. The soundtrack also fits the scenes nicely, but unfortunately, the songs aren’t particularly memorable for me.
Overall, I’m already looking forward to rewatching this drama, especially my favorite episodes. It’s such a comforting, feel-good watch!

Great Balance of Thriller and Romance-Melodrama
Flower of Evil follows the story of a psychopath husband with tons of secrets and his police detective wife, who ends up handling a case linked to his past. It ultimately leads to either a breakdown of trust or a strengthening of their relationship.Flower of Evil is more of a mix of thriller and romance-melodrama genres, not as dark as Signal, Voice, or even Mouse. It's actually a relatively light watch, but they succeed in keeping the tension high throughout the entire drama. They balance the thrills and romance perfectly in every episode, and it's also supported by great background music.
The script is solid and tight, even though some unnecessary plot get added in the second half. The acting is great, and the chemistry is amazing. I also love the daughter's acting, she's really cute.
Overall, it's a great series to watch. It has some dark vibes, but it still delivers the emotional scenes between the leads amazingly.

Feels Real and Moving
Remembrance of Things Past is about three women who have just lost one of their best friends to suicide. From there, we follow their journey to move on and survive in the big city of Beijing, balancing their careers, friendships, and love lives.I didn't expected it to be such a heavy watch. The early episodes deal with quite dark topics, but they're presented in a surprisingly light and gentle way. Overall, the drama takes a very realistic approach, which shows through its cinematography and natural camera movements.
The story itself is solid and highly relatable. The plot feels grounded in real life, with every character facing their own struggles and flaws. Their decisions all make sense and feel reasonable. The ending is great, it's honestly the best possible outcome for all of them.
The friendship chemistry among the women is oustanding, the bond is so warm and genuine. It's a truly heartwarming yet deeply relatable series.

Makjang Drama that Surprisingly Suits My Taste
SKY Castle follows the story of four families living in the Sky Castle residences as they deal with their ambitions for their children’s futures.SKY Castle is actually what people call as a makjang drama. At first, I thought it wasn’t my kind of genre, but SKY Castle proved me wrong. The first episode was a bit boring for me. The luxury vibe and the “exaggerated” acting weren’t really my cup of tea. From the second episode onward, the series picked up the pace, the story progressed quickly, and we gradually learned about each parents' ambitions and how every character is morally grey.
What I loved most about this series is how it focused only on education topics and the intense pressure parents put on their children to become a source of pride. They will do absolutely anything to achieve that, and that’s exactly how the tragedy after tragedy unfolds.
It has a solid script for a 20-episode series. The story stays engaging throughout. It felt a bit flat in the second half, but it was still fun to watch. The ensemble cast delivered great acting. The message is powerful and they conveyed it very effectively. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

Light-hearted, Funny and Heartwarming Drama
Twinkling Watermelon follows 18-year-old Han Eun Gyeol, who time-travels from 2023 back to 1995 and meets his father, who is a high schooler at that time. He then decides to form a band with his father to change their future fate. It's a light-hearted, funny, and heartwarming drama. Every character is lovable. All of the actors did an excellent job. The cast chemistry is insane, their bickering is really fun to watch, and their friendship feels so adorable. The couples are cute too. Even though the story hints at a love-triangle trope, it was executed well, so there are no hard feelings toward either male lead.
The script is solid. They manage to keep things fun throughout the entire series without unnecessary problems or overdramatic storylines. The early episodes felt a bit boring to me, but once the 1995 timeline really kicks in, the drama becomes very engaging.
That said, the setting still feels a bit too modern for my taste. Also, the time-travel trope has some things that aren't fully explained by the end.
Overall, it's still a very enjoyable watch for me. My heart felt warm after finishing it.

Almost Perfect Detective Stories
Detective L follows the famous detective Luo Fei, who is assisted by rookie police officer Qin Xiao Man, as they solve murder cases together. The drama consists of 24 episodes, each around 30–40 minutes long, with one case typically solved across 3 episodes.Detective L definitely has good and interesting stories. While the concept isn’t entirely new and some cases feel familiar if you’ve read or watched other detective stories, it’s really fun to watch and keeps you engaged throughout.
I also love the Chinnese Republican era background. This was my first time watching a drama set in that period, so I’m really happy that Detective L was my introduction to it, and I definitely want to try other Republican dramas now.
The acting and chemistry are the real highlights of this drama. Bai Yu shines in the role of Luo Fei, perfectly handling everything from sharp analysis to the comedic scenes. He nailed it all.
However, the CGI is not good. Also, the last two cases feel underwhelming, especially the very final one when some new characters are introduced with very little background story, which left me confused. The main villain’s reveal is a plot twist, but it didn’t emotionally move me. The ending also leaves many questions unanswered.
Overall, even though there were some disappointing aspects, I still really enjoyed watching this drama.

Classic K-Romcom Art
Her Private Life follows Sung Duk-mi, who live a double life, a professional and talented art curator at work, and a dedicated fansite master in her private time. She eventually meets her new director, Ryan Gold, who discovers her secret. It’s a classic romcom and full of clichés, yet it still makes your heart flutter. The series does a great job exploring the world of art curators and their daily work, as well as the vibrant and sometimes obsessive life of fangirling. This was pretty new for me to watch.
The story moves at a fast pace, which keeps it from ever feeling boring. That said, I started to dislike the plot in the last third of the series. It falls into the usual cliché trope of a childhood connection where the characters were unintentionally linked in the past but this one felt too stretched and over-the-top for my liking.
The chemistry between the leads is adorable and spot-on. Park Min-young plays her usual professional office role and she executes it perfectly. I loved her character and her stylish vibe. Kim Jae-wook also shines with some really enjoyable comedic moments.
Overall, it’s a solid, feel-good romcom that’s definitely worth watching.

Rubber Ducks and Missed Spark
Welcome to My Side is about Chen Xiao Zhou, who experiences something strange, every time he sees something yellow, everyone around him turns into a rubber duck. His life only returns to normal after he meets Feng Jia Nan.This movie actually has an interesting concept with a touch of fantasy. It’s quite unique and could have been great if executed well, but unfortunately, that’s not the case here. Everything feels boring, from the directing to the script. Every moment the leads spend together comes across as bland, because they failed to capture any real chemistry between them, even though the individual acting is actually great. The script is also lacking, the slow first half needed to be more engaging, but the story only picks up in the second half after the plot twist.
Still, overall, I do get the message they were trying to convey, though I expected it to be delivered much better. It’s still decent for killing time, though.

The Lotus Blooms Late
Mysterious Lotus Casebook is about the journey of physician Li Lianhua and rookie detective Fang Duobing as they solve cases that gradually reveal their past stories.Mysterious Lotus Casebook was my first wuxia drama, so I didn’t really understand the universe in the first few episodes. For me, the cases felt boring and didn’t make much sense. It wasn’t until episode 7 that the story started picking up, the cases became interesting, the plot thickened, and the chemistry and comedy really hit.
As a 40-episode series, I felt some draggy plots at times. But overall, the script is strong. The action scenes are great, and the visuals are pleasant to watch. The highlight is absolutely the Li Lianhua character, a genius who’s also cynical and Cheng Yi did an amazing job in this role. The bromance among the two with Di Feisheng is fun too, and the most entertaining cases are when all three of them solve it together.
Overall, it’s not a heavy watch and very enjoyable

"Be Yourself, That's the Coolest Thing"
Be Yourself follows the story of four girls from room 5438 across their four years of college. The series consist 24 eps, each 6 eps covers the story from one year on college.Be Yourself actually feels quite personal and nostalgic for me because of how accurately they captured dorm life, the way I experienced it myself. One thing I notice is the dorm/room setting arrangement doesn’t feel too artificial like in some other Cdramas, but it’s still comfortable and pleasant to watch.
The plot feels so real, from dorm life to college struggles, like adapting & dealing with friendships, love, family, and figuring out who they really are. It’s simple, not overly dramatic but the emotions and vibes are really there.
The thing I want to complain about is how they solve problems. They often try to wrap up one plotline in a single episode, so some conclusions feel rushed. It makes me think, “It’s just like that?” and it doesn’t always feel realistic. That also makes the series ending feel a bit bland because I was hoping for more character development from the girls. The best character development belongs to Zhang Ruonan’s character.
The four girls’ chemistry as roommates is the highlight of the show. They have very different personalities and backgrounds, which makes it fun to watch. They bicker but also help each other grow. One day they might hurt each other, but the next day everything feels fine again. The love lines also feel realistic to me, not every couple ends up together, but that’s reality, sometimes you have to choose your future over romance.
Overall, it’s not perfect, but it’s absolutely enjoyable.

Light, Funny, and Full Power
I Am Nobody follows the journey of Zhang Chulan, an ordinary young man who enters the hidden world of "Outsiders" (people with extraordinary powers) to uncover the truth behind his grandfather's mysterious death. Along the way, he meets Feng Baobao, a enigmatic girl searching for her real family and origins. This isn't usually my go-to genre, but the great reviews convinced me to give it a try. The first few episodes (1–3) felt a bit rushed and hard to follow, with everything moving too quickly. But once I got a clearer grasp of the plot, it became really enjoyable and watch.
The plot is excellent, they do a great job explaining the universe and its rules. There are tons of characters, each with unique superpowers, which adds so much fun and variety. That said, the main characters, Zhang Chulan's superpower journey aren't explored deeply enough for my taste, but since this is only Season 1 and more seasons are planned, there's plenty of time to dive deeper in the future.
This season mainly focuses on Zhang Chulan's personal journey, introduces the world of Outsiders through various characters' backstories, and reveals parts of his grandfather's past. The comedy lands really well, it's witty and quirky without feeling forced. The action scenes are top-notch. The CGI is amazing overall, making the powers and fights look impressive. For acting, Wang Yinglu stands out the most as Feng Baobao, she nails the character's mysterious, emotionless yet captivating vibe perfectly.
Overall, it's a light and easy watch, kind of slow-paced at times but super enjoyable and entertaining

You Can Believe in Fairytale
The Bad Kids follows three children who accidentally record a murder scene and choose to get involved with the killer, blackmailing him for money to solve their own problems.Right from the start, the series hits hard with a shocking murder attempt unfolding in a clear and calm atmosphere, completely at odds with the violence. It sets the tone perfectly for the next 12 episodes, and it delivers, I stayed thrilled the whole way through, even though the show keeps an unexpectedly bright overall vibe.
Unlike most psychological thrillers I've watched that lean into dark, moody lighting and slow-heavy pacing, The Bad Kids feels bright and almost sunny despite its still slow paced. Many of the key murder scenes play out in broad daylight. The coastal countryside setting is captured so beautifully, adding layers of visual contrast to the dark events.
This sense of contradiction runs through the main characters too. We're left constantly questioning if these are truly "good kids" or secretly "bad kids." The young actors are phenomenal, they nail the innocence, and the chilling glimpses of "evil" acting.
The plot is solid and well-constructed, with a strong emphasis on how broken family situations shape children's lives and push them toward some terrible choices. It drags a little in the middle, but the momentum holds up. I found the kids' desperate need for the money a bit unconvincing at times. The ending felt somewhat weak on my first watch, but after diving into other viewers' theories and analyses, I now think the creators did great for that, especially with the layered, open-to-interpretation way it wraps up. The "Fairytale" type of ending is perfect choice for the cruel reality the kids faced on the entire series.

Light yet Enchanting
Moonlight Mystique follows the journey of Bai Shuo, a human clan, and Fan Yue, the Demon Lord, as they collect all five emotions for the Wu Nian Stone. This is my first xianxia drama that I've actually finished. I'm not usually into costume dramas or the fantasy genre in general. I've tried some popular xianxia dramas before, but the stories were too hard to follow, so I dropped them all. Moonlight Mystique was different for me, the story is light, easy to understand, and beginner-friendly. The conflicts are clear and not overly complicated.
Another thing I noticed is how pretty everything looks, the costumes, settings, and CGI are all great, colorful, and visually stunning.
I also love the message the drama conveys, no matter your origin, you're the only one who can decide who you want to be.
Overall, this drama has some flaws here and there, but it's still really enjoyable to watch
