It's Quite Fun to Watch
The World of My 17 is about Oh Nari and her group of friends, consisting of the goddess beauty Nari, the pure and innocent girl Yeji, and the idol trainee Mirae. They experience their first year of high school with many stories, laughter, and tears, but one thing is for sure: their friendship will stay strong. It's a cute and quite funny web drama. The plot feels more like a montage of events rather than a continuous story to me. Every cast member has a strong character, so it's fun to watch their interactions. The introduction of the cast in the early episodes feels rushed, though, especially for someone like me who hasn't read the webtoon. The pacing and resolution also have some problems. But it's still an enjoyable watch to spend free time on.

Pretty Solid as A Webdrama
One Fine Week follows two girls with similar faces who live completely different lives, Da Eun, an ordinary college student who works part-time at a coffee shop, and Byul, who lives a "perfect" life as a member of an idol group. For some reason, they agree to swap lives for one week. During that week, Da Eun takes over Byul’s role as a cast member on a dating show. It’s a short webdrama with a pretty solid script. There are no unnecessary conflicts and no boring moments. It’s fast-paced, but it doesn’t lack the necessary details. Every episode wraps up properly and leaves us with a cliffhanger that makes us want to watch the next one. The topics it covers are also quite relatable, especially regarding the reality of idol life.
The directing is average for a web drama, and the acting is quite good, what I love the most is the interactions between the cast, whether during the dating show filming or at the coffee shop.
Overall, it’s fun to watch.

The Horror Isn't that Scary
The Ghost Game follows the story of five high school students who perform a ritual to summon a ghost, hoping to create a video that will win a YouTube contest. The premise feels similar to many previous horror movies, though the film tries to add a twist at the end. However, the script still feels lacking. It attempts to build conflict that leads to the twist, but the execution isn’t convincing enough, so the twist doesn’t feel believable. That said, some of the conflicts involving the other students work quite well.
The directing is also quite bland, the horror elements aren’t particularly scary, and the buildup in Act 1 feels overly rushed. The early scenes meant to establish the group’s chemistry fall flat and come across as boring. Still, I think it’s the best they could do with such a low-budget horror movie.
That said, the acting is solid overall. Seo Dong-hyun shines the most as Moon Gi-ho, while Yeri gives it her best effort, though this is probably her weakest performance to date.
Overall, because I kept my expectations very low after reading other reviews, it turned out to be a fun, decent watch to kill some free time.

Live Your Life with Color
Drama Stage Season 4: Mint Condition is a 1-episode drama about an angry old man who turns into a young man after a breakdown in an MRI machine. Later, he meets an indie hip-hop group consisting of three people and learns from them what life should really be about. The drama has a unique premise and a clear message to deliver. However, the script doesn’t do it justice. Instead of properly building up the story within the limited one-episode format, it spends so much time on the comedic scenes here and there.
That said, the acting and chemistry are great, and the comedy is genuinely fun, making it still enjoyable to watch. The conclusion also feels right and fitting. As other reviewers have said, this story would have worked much better as a mini-series, it would have had enough time to develop the plot properly while still keeping all the comedic moments intact.

The Dark Side of Love
The Dark Romance follows Yan Ling, a university teacher and single mother, who sets out to uncover the truth behind her best friend’s suicide. From there, the story unfolds into a series of tragedies all rooted in "love".It’s a psychological thriller that explores heavy themes, particularly on how the need to feel loved (or the fear of not being loved) can drive people to do things that defy reason and morality. The series doesn’t focus on just one story, it weaves together multiple narratives about emotional manipulation, gaslighting in relationships, and the long journey most of the characters take to confront and overcome their childhood traumas related to love and attachment, sometimes in healthy ways, sometimes in destructive ones.
The script is solid and perfectly paced across 22 episodes. It never feels dragged out or rushed. The directing is excellent, not only in the thrilling and tense scenes, but also in the way the landscapes of each city are captured so beautifully. The highlight, however, is the acting of the two main leads. They share many powerful two-shot scenes, and every single one of them feels incredibly authentic. As a viewer, I could clearly sense the awkwardness at their first meet, the growing connection between them, the warmth of their romance and married life, and later the pain of their arguments and confrontations. The emotions and tension felt remarkably real.
Overall, it’s a very well-made and compelling watch. However, I don’t think I could rewatch it. The topics are simply too heavy and emotionally triggering for me.

Destined to Watch This
Destined to Meet You is about a smart businesswoman who enters a contract marriage with a college student who has 5-year age gap with her.As a short drama, the dialogue, camera work, and overall directing all scream "short-form series" right from the start. But I think it has a plot as good as some usual long romcom dramas, even better. First, it's a romcom, and they fulfill the romcom checklist like cute romance between the leads, past story connections, and business elements with some betrayal from close friend, all the clichés, but also a fast-paced story with no boring moments, no hard feelings, and no annoying characters, that make it enjoyable to watch. It's kinda rushed at the ending, but still fine. The acting is also pretty good.
Overall, it's really fun to watch, I finished it in one sitting because it's short. This drama also changed my stereotype about short dramas.

Almost Perfect First Responder Action
The First Responders tells the story of the 119 team, including firefighters, paramedics, and police. It's a fast-paced, intense and thrilling story, as it should be, with comedic moments here and there, and also interesting cases. These factors become the strengths of the series and keep me engaged throughout. The pacing is quite fine, even though the story shifts more toward police investigations rather than the first responders theme I expected in the mid-series. I also wish they had explored the firefighter character's personal story more. The cliffhanger ending is expected from this writer's past dramas.
Overall, it doesn't quite fulfill my expectations, yet it's still very enjoyable to watch.

Don't Write A Novel!
Partners for Justice is about a genius forensic doctor and a rookie prosecutor who team up to solve murder cases. It caught my attention because it focuses on something I’ve always been curious about when watching other crime dramas, the forensic team and the National Forensic Service (NFS). This series really dives into that profession and gives detailed information about forensics and its role in solving cases.
The story is great, there are plot twists here and there, which I loved the most because they kept me thrilled. Of course, there are also some cliché tropes common in crime Kdramas, quite a few annoying characters, and some not-so-logical plot points.
Overall, it’s an very enjoyable watch.

More About Crocodile than Tsunami
Crazy Tsunami is about a tsunami that hits a Chinatown in Southeast Asia. Some Chinese survivors wait for rescue after the tsunami, but unfortunately, they remain in danger because a wild crocodile starts hunting them. It’s a web movie under 80 minutes, so I wasn’t expecting much, but I actually quite enjoyed it. It still gave me thrills and some sad feelings. They do have a storyline, but it could have been executed with better flow and logic. The acting is good, and the setting and CGI are quite decent too.
The title felt quite misleading to me because the story focuses more on the crocodile than the tsunami itself. The tsunami isn’t even “crazy", they could easily replace it with a sudden flood and the story would still work.
Overall, it’s quite good for killing time.

Definitely Worth to Watch
Definitely Not Today is about Mi Chong who plans to commit suicide, but his plan is ruined when he decides to save Zhi Liao from drowning. From that moment, their lives are never the same again. It’s a dark comedy series, not really my go-to genre, but because the leads are a couple from one of my comfort dramas, Be Yourself, I decided to give it a try. Also, this drama is short, with only 8 episodes of about 20 minutes each, so I could finish it quickly.
The chemistry is definitely there. Their characters and banter in general also remind me a lot of Be Yourself, so that sense of familiarity kept me watching until the end. The plot isn’t particularly unique and is quite predictable, but it’s not something you see often in Cdramas. The comedy actually hits at some points. The topics feel relatable too. Most of all, I love how well-directed it is, considering it’s just a mini-series.
Overall, it was a pretty good watch for me.

Rainbow Pallete
Romantics Anonymous follows an anonymous chocolatier and the new director of a chocolate shop who somehow get connected and help each other overcome their anxiety. It's a really light yet calm romcom. There are no hard feelings, no long misunderstandings, and the characters behave like an adult, no childish attitude at all. The chocolate topic is also really fun to watch, each episode focuses on a chocolate from the "rainbow palette" package, and we follow the story behind it.
The cinematography is really great. The chemistry is on point, and the acting is good. Han Hyo-joo delivered a really great performance, and her Japanese skills are excellent. However, the script felt quite lacking for me. Because it's only an 8-episode series, some plots are left unexplored and don't get proper explanations, like the male lead's anxiety and his relationship with his family. They did explain it, but I think it would have been better if they explored it more. Some parts in the first half were also quite boring for me.

Great Bond and Fun "Conversations"
Her story follows Wang Tiemei, a hardworking single mother who has just moved to a new flat with her daughter. There, they meets the free-spirited woman Xiao Ye. The three of them form a great bond and learn from one another to better understand themselves.Honestly, I wasn't really fond of the synopsis, I only started watching this because of the great reviews and the accolades it achieved. But I enjoyed it much more than I expected. The story is simple, most of the plot happens through their conversations while sitting together, with no overdramatic developments. The feminism topics are delivered quite well too. The Shanghai cinematography is captured beautifully.
The acting and chemistry are really the best parts of this show. I especially love their banter and conversations, everything feels so fun to watch. However, as a 2-hour film, it sometimes feels a bit slow, and other times a little rushed. But overall, it's really really an enjoyable watch.

The Puzzle Isn't Complete
Go Brother! follows the story of Shi Miao and her "annoying" older brother, Shi Fen. At her birthday party, Shi Miao makes a wish for her brother to disappear from her and unfortunately, the universe granted her wish and make Shi Fen become the older brother of Miao Miao, Shi Miao's friend instead. It has the kind of good comedic style that I really enjoy. Everything feels fun right from the very first minute. The chemistry between Zhang Zifeng (as Shi Miao) and Peng Yuchang (as Shi Fen) as siblings is really great and becomes the highlight of the movie. Zhao Jinmai as Miao Miao is cute too. The story is also quite good. It's has balance of the comedy and heartwarming moment.
Overall, it's a nice watch for killing time.

Suprisingly Enjoyable and No Boring Moments
Cry Me a Sad River is about a Yi Yao who lives in poverty with her abusive mother, shares a close childhood bond with her neighbor and classmate Qi Ming, but everything spirals when a new transfer student, Tang Xiaomi, arrives and triggers rumors and jealousy. These rumors turn into cruel and relentless bullying that destroys Yi Yao's life and unfortunately leading to some tragic consequences.Surprisingly, it's such an enjoyable watch with no boring moments, despite the overall vibe feels gloomy and heavy. The directing is amazing, with some really beautiful shots. The acting is incredible, and the story is good overall, but some plot events happen really fast, so I couldn't fully feel the depth of the story and characters.

It's A Good Watch
The Woman in the Storm tells the story of a wife and mother of two who experiences domestic violence from her own husband. She wants a divorce, but the circumstances around her leave her deeply conflicted and trapped in dilemma. It has a great premise and a strong storyline, but some parts of the plot feel unexplored, it's a pity because deeper exploration could have made the story even more impactful. Still, the acting is amazing and the two leads give their best performances.
It's definitely a good watch
