they won't, and that's one of my biggest problems with the show. you can't introduce something that makes it seem like these people are acting as slaves to their very nature and genetic code, yet not address what that means from a moral standpoint. is it even their faults? they can't help themselves. they were born that way. but the show doesn't think in this direction at all and that was such a missed opportunity to do something different and original. this show should've been more of a psychological thriller but instead it's more crime thriller and that just doesn't do enough justice to its premise.

I'd suggest you don't waste your time. it doesn't go anywhere worthwhile.

exactly in the perspective of us viewers we can't exactly blame her for stealing cause we know that she doesn't actually know what she did was wrong. but in the eyes of the male lead it was definitely stealing. any normal person would consider her a criminal or at the very least someone who has no respect for boundaries. but the male lead just saw it as nothing.

I swear the pacing of this show is criminal. I can't watch an episode without checking how much time is left every now and then, and getting disappointed when I see I'm not almost done😭. I hear a new episode drops and I'm not even inspired to watch it.

i agree. I'm very disappointed with the way they handled the fl. she's at times hard to watch. sometimes she acts like a stern mature adult, and other times like a baby who doesn't know her left from right. her cocky joseon voice gimmick got old after the first few episodes. as for her relationship with the ml, I haven't been comfortable with it ever since he just let her off the hook for stealing his credit card. that was a really weird thing to do but he just let it slide like she's a baby who picked up a shiny object.

the acting was good for sure but the whole sequence made no logical sense to me. why didn't he just give her a chance to explain, and why did she keep that information from him in the first place. why did they turn Cha Sagye into a doormat boyfriend

Same. I started it cos of the hype but it's just pretty average. The villain is boring and the main couple's "romance" is just meh cliche stuff.

Mdl is literally for sharing all kinds of opinions. You can't ask someone to shut up just cos you don't agree with them.

It's like you people sometimes forget that celebrities are real people. Criticize his acting, his line delivery, his direction- literally anything, but you can't come online and insult a real person's appearance. Even if you dislike his facial expressions, calling him ugly is just wrong. Do better!

She didn't even tell him when his fake fiancee came to bother her. She just became pouty and weird and distant instead of simply talking things through.

It makes absolutely no sense. Which is why he should've shut up and let her explain, let's see if she actually has anything reasonable to say. Instead he became a doormat boyfriend who just wants to be "used" by the fl. Do kdrama fans actually find this kind of dynamic romantic??? I felt off about their relationship from the moment she stole his credit card. That's not the kind of thing you just let slide. Even if you're super rich and have cash to spare, you should still be skeptical about a person who would knowingly steal and use your credit card. I don't blame her, obviously she didn't know how things worked then. But he doesn't know she's from the past so he should've held her accountable like he would someone from the present. Even if he doesn't want to put her in prison or anything too grave, he should've still been wary of her and tried to distance himself from her. That whole thing was so off-putting to me.

What exactly is was Shin Seori's reason for not telling the ml about her conversations with Choi Mundo. I just watched episode 9 and the final scene was so unnecessarily overdramatic. He didn't give her a chance to explain herself. Even if he had, there's really no sensible explanation for not telling him about a family member who intended to use her to harm him in some way, so he could prepare himself.

I just watched it and I too am emotionally wrecked. It really opened my eyes and gave me a whole new perspective on sexuality and identity. Kin Go Eun was perfect and I love that I can always expect the best from her projects.

first of all he's not giving up his money he runs a foundation now so he's not exactly poor second of all why wouldn't you give up a career where people are literally trying to kill you and you are constantly under immeasurable pressure and scrutiny, in exchange for a life of peace and happiness with people you love

seems like a no-brainer to me

the scene in the end when Wan calls out to her and she calls him by his real name and they walk out of the palace together that scene is just pure perfection to me

it's moment like those that made me love this show despite all its flaws
