he's the bigger star, but she's just trending for now. that's his interest in her cos he isn't a hugggeeee star. he's like a b lister, not an a lister, that's why he needs her current craze to propel his image to her audience. but he's the biggerstar in the scene that he's been in the industry longer than she has, and has been the lead a lot more than she has.

no i don't know oooo. I haven't finished watching 😂.

yeah, its like they were both trying their hardest to get he other person to say what they want to hear, while avoiding saying anything that would make them vulnerable 😂. they need healing

You know we aren't watching every single second of the plot, right. irrelevant things such as jetlag are skipped.

Of course not 😂. But after he chased her outside and asked her to be honest, she should've. I get that seeing Bo Rami messed with her head, but her refusal to be honest just dragged things out needlessly. I mean, why bother coming to find him if she didnt have the courage to be honest.

So it’s totally fine when in 90% of romance shows, the ML chases the FL but suddenly it’s “pathetic” when…

On episode 3 - ML is so mean and dismissive so far, but...yet...cares? its so odd. FL is love sick from the start.…
ML is mean? He shielded her in her time of vulnerability and helped her get the closure she so desperately needed. He doesn't like getting unnecessarily involved in other people's business. This isn't being dismissive, it's being smart and careful.

i also hate that the crew was blaming her for lost eye contact, but it had nothing to do with misogyny. Hiro is the bigger star of the two of them so they dont want to upset him in anyway. If she were the bigger star, they'd treat her the way they treat Hiro, always trying to please him and make sure everything is to his liking. No misogyny involved. Just star power

Getting married just because your partner said so, it feels like he’s doing her a favour
he obviously doesn't value her. she needs self respect and strength to walk away.

so far, I understand her hallucinations of Do Rami as a reflection of her deepest fears and insecurities. That's why Do Rami only shows up when she's sad and things are going badly in her life. I really hope the show handles the topic properly, though, because mental health is a serious thing.

So, now people say Hojin and Muhui talking too much? Seriously what the hell? #facepalmThis is why I said, you…
i personally believe that a "romcom" that has only romance and comedy to offer, isn't satisfying. watching two people giggle and stare into each other's eyes and fall in love, gets boring after the first few episodes. there needs to be something else driving the story. whether they're chasing their dreams like in Start up, or dealing with a shared struggle, there needs to be another equally important storyline to fill up that runtime. sometimes that storyline can be from another genre like it is here, but that's okay. a romcom that's JUST romance and comedy feels empty, at least to me.
On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 17, 2026
The conversations between Mu Hee and Ho Jin are always meaningful and personal. They talk about their worldviews, dreams, struggles, etc. and watching them interact is so engaging. It's easy to see how and why they fall for each other.

that person was simply pointing out the immense impact the show has, so you know that your dislike for goblin is absolutely irrelevant in light of the show's many achievements. all your talk of death threats and mental are completely off point and add nothing new to the argument.

no, if they lower that legal age to ten, I won't be okay. I'll call it weird. But I wont call it paedophilia because that's a crime, and as long as the law allows it, it's not a crime. if you haven't seen vampire diaries, how can you have a problem with the age gap. Are you pulling your arguments out of thin air? Do you really think your opinion about a show you havent watched is valid? FL "acts like a child" is just an argument you invented in your head simply because Kim Go Eun has a smallish physique which makes her actually look like one, coupled with her playful behavior. I've watched plenty of dramas where the FL acts even more childish than her, and no one care cos they look mature. Besides, she only acts immaturely around the Goblin because she feels safe and can open herself up when she's with him. Look at her with other characters: her aunt's family, the ghosts, her schoolmates, her boss, even the grim reaper. She acts maturely around everyone except for the goblin... because she likes him. She isn't a child. No matter what you chose to believe, that's a fact, unless you have enough power to change the law.

you clearly haven't watched the show cos your entire argument crumbles to pieces when you watch the show and realise that she's 19 years old, a legal adult in Korea
