he/she isn't blind. but you might be dumb. only a person who has experienced a drama from themselves has the right to decide if it is overhyped or not. hype isn't the same thing as overhype. i see you didn't take me up on my suggestion to visit the dictionary.

the defense of "everyone online liked it so must be good" is so dumb. just cos majority likes it doesn't mean the minority is wrong for feeling the way we do. I agree, HER ACTING IS BLAND. i don't think anyone who feels differently is wrong. it's just my personal opinion. that's what some fans of this drama don't understand.

dont forget that she lied to her mom instead of just tellun her the wedding was off, for literally no good reason. she wasn't the one who screwed up, so why lie? she just put her mom in an embarrassing situation amd her mom never even addressed it😒. she's just a liar through and through

I wanted to write a review of Dear X, but ended up writing a full on character analysis of Baek Ah Jin😅. she's just so fascinating and intriguing

You're mad cos a villain is the main character??? did you not pick up on that from the trailer, synopsis, or, I dunno... the first 10 minutes??? you've never watched a movie that focuses on the bad guy? this show just isn't for you cos that's such a weird take.

what a brilliant first episode. the acting was superb. Kim You Jung clearly brought her A game to this one, but I have to commend Kim Yi Kyeong's performance. This episode was near perfect for me. my only issue was how, on the beginning, they wrote all those personality traits of Baek Ah Jin's character. it felt unnecessary. I would've eventually picked up on those things as the story progressed. but, other than that, wow! mind blown!

how is it that characters keep bumping into each other repeatedly. are all the locations in this show on the same street? everyone knows everyone. even the only two America based characters somehow know each other in America. okay, script 😂

the ex is still around? are you kidding me? what makes him think he can go public when he cheated on her first😂. its obvious his mom babied him too much as a child, and that's why he's super entitled.

i always thought Bae Nara's face was too serious looking for this show. But when he smiled for the first time in episode 10, I started to understand the people who say he should star as a ML in his own romcom

i defended the SFL at first. i thought she just made mistakes and was ready to learn from them and change. but now she's just straight up delusional. "my man"?😂. oh, and I love how everyone is at the right place at the right time to overhear the right conversations 😂

Respectfully, you can call them whatever you want. if i couldn't stand the supportive comments, I would be trying to debunk every single one of them, the way you try to debunk the negative ones. but I come here, i see the comments that I don't agree with and i pass them by. because I know that those people are entitled to their own opinions just like i am. I post my own personal opinion, then I leave. sometimes, i reply to the people I do agree with and try to engage them. but the people like you who can't stand to see criticism will then attack me for having differing opinions. I'm here cos I can be. cos MDL is open to all. I'm here cos I watch the show and im free to comment. it's like i can't say the show is cliche without being called a hater😂. someone here commented that these haters don't even state actual problems, they just hate on the whole show. but I've stated clear issues several times yet none of the fans have any actual defense. it's like they just come here to talk about how cute a particular scene was, then proceed to complain about haters.

when I want to rate a drama, I take everything into consideration; visuals, characters, pacing, plot, etc. so no matter how much I dislike a drama, I can't rate it 1/10, cos it'll have something to offer in one of these aspects. maybe it's just me, but ive never come across a drama that has absolutely nothing to offer. that's also why it's hard for me to just drop dramas i "don't like" even if I hate the characters, I may like the plot or vise versa. I'll criticize what i dislike, but still keep watching for that one thing I like.

well, you won't find answers here. this drama is trying to keep things as surface level as possible, regardless of how illogical they are. to me, it seems like he was pretending to be a good person with her, and is now showing his true colors out of desperation. which makes me wonder why the FL didn't take her time to get to know the ML deeply before jumping into another relationship, considering her past relationship was with a guy whose true nature she never actually knew. but the show's not deep enough to get into that🤷

@ayysociety literally can't stand any form of criticism against this drama. she/he loves it so much. she/he thinks that people sharing opinions that don't align with hers/his are automatically haters. it's like some people don't understand the point of an app like MDL. they should go create their own platform that allows positive comments only. and if they could actually argue in defense of the drama, i would love the debate. but all they do is complain about people who have actual opinions to share, or tell them "if you dont like it, don't watch it" or "stop spreading negativity"😒

well, like i said to @Taxebo, I'll watch it if i feel like and comment on it if I feel like. get used to it cos there's nothing you can do about it.
