Two episodes too long and too much melo-drama. However I enjoyed the fact that the FL held her own and was not dependent on the ML for anything. I always enjoy such strong FL characters. The series suffers from too much Hero Worship where in Master Jang has become the savior in every situation. I didn't skip through it but I really wanted to :).
Did anyone feel Ok zu and Choi's relationship was romantic in nature? Or at least Ok Zu had some complecated feelings towards Choi? Dunno, their scenes were giving more romance vibe than friendship. Whatever may it be, our girl Ok Zu busted all the criminals! That was immensely satisfying.
I came to check the comment section and realised I forgot the plot ( I juat watched it couple weeks ago!!!). Either my memory is failing me or the movie was utterly forgettable!!
We all know it wasn’t the onions that was making you cry Kohei, even got his mom crying cos her son is sad.…
There separation scene was so well done. The actors acted brillianly. I could feel the tension, heart break, resignation and so much more from their walking down the path together and then parting. The separation was inevitable and they both knew it, they didn't want it at some level but knew it would happen. Such well crafted scene!!

Everything is written perfectly! Thank you for your post. I also enjoyed Maya's insertion into the story. I have to use walking aids at times. When I first started using them, it was immensely isolating. It would take me much longer to get anywhere, stairs were a nightmare and it seemed everyone was moving past me. I knew it was temporary yet it was difficult. I can only imagine what profound isolation would rise from hearing or any other permanent impairment. I identified with the characters and their struggles. Imo the series is very well made.
This is beyond good. It is so subtle yet immensely powerful. Every character is a treat to look at. The mother-son duo and their onion cutting scene will be one of favorites. I am happy that I did not miss it.
The storyline is crafted with great delicacy, weaving together numerous elements that resonate deeply and evoke…
