I agree with your reasoning. Yo Han is the only one who treats Ga On like an adult. Not like a mere child who needs protection. Yo Han could tell Ga On that the world he lives in is a fantacy and it needs fixing. They treat eachother as equals when it comes to helping eachother.

They could be a bit more couregous and drop the front "b" from bromance :) just saying. The ultimate taboo of showing a same sex couple in a high budget drama/movie has to come down at some point, right? This will not happen in this drama, but it can happen in future (hopefully near future). Peace!

I have some thoughts to share here. I got the point that revenge at the end is futile. But misdeeds need retribution, right? What if the "system" doesnot work and there is no repurcussion of misdeeds. What to do then? Just move on and not think about it? I am so conflicted on this you know. I am not just talking about the drama. In general what to do? :( Collective pressure for justice would help. Collective activism for justice would also have to happen. Don't mind me, just me thinking about all the what ifs...

Yes, K's character was (i hope is) solid.

Unfortunately this character has been written as a one tone character. Without showing much growth. I mean all I feel it does is just point gun at the first chance it gets. I think it would have been better if this character would have been given some background and own story. At the moment this character exists only for Ga On and looking after Ga On is its main purpose. It appears the writers would also let this character "FINALLY" uncover the mystry of the fire. That would be too easy, no one in the last 10 years including Yo Han could find who set the fire but SH would. That is where the drama would loose its rationale. Anyways may be I am over thinking. Only 4 more episodes to go.

The Ga On and SH love track appears to be imposed. The characters show no chemistry towards eachother. Most of the time SH is parenting Ga On. The writers are showing chemistry somewhere else and expecting the viewers to buy into Ga On and SH love story ... it doesn't work that way. Being a main stream k drama it will not give us a same sex couple, thats understood. But atleast don't give a couple that doesn't work either. Develop some chemistry or story between them. Make the viewers conflicted as in who to root for. At the moment there is only one couple to ship and you know which one I am talking about, right? 😀

Oh you said it so accurately. Both the characters are changing and they are afraid of the change. I felt Yo Han was a bit better in accepting the change as he acknowledges that he needs Ga On and the light that comes with it. But Ga On on the other hand has so far shown no sign that he needs Yo Han or the darkness. He got into it to fight but as soon as the fight got ugly and he got a spank from his love interest he fled. But he is conflicted as he was calling Yo Han. These two characters are so well written. It is impossible to purely love or hate them. Its a mixture of both.
