I think it's important to remember that this is set in a dystopian society where present day morals and expectations…
But this dystopia (the corruption and breakinf dosn of the justice system part) is so true for so many places around the world. It makes me immensely sad.

A grown-up with a job as a judge, who is always overreacting with justice/saving people, rushed and made a bad…
His character is written that way I guess. A person who jumps his gun without thinking much and then thinks. :)

The chemistry and bromance between Gaon and Yohan… I wish they could have been bolder and went more than that…
Oh, how I also wish they could be a bit bolder about it instead of just activating our imagination.

Another brillant thing this writer does it's setting "premonition lines". You hear K talk about how if you keep…
True that. The show is brilliantly written. All the characters come with their own nuances.

K, is he really dead? Oh no, he is the most loyal to yo han, yo han would be very sad.
I find him to be the only person really loyal to him. Everyone else comes and goes or doesn't give a Damn.

I get there is a real need for Sun ah character in the story coz she is the villan but what is soo Hyun character?…
She is the love interest of Ga On as he has no one to love him. And also the protector of Ga On, as he is like a child who gets into trouble all the time. And also the moral compass of Ga On as he is too fragile ... you get the point, right? (Sarcasm Alert!!!)

Unfortunately, this is not a dystopian version of Korea. The Korean legal system favours the rich and powerful.…

I will say the minister was my favorite among the villain's. I feel like Yo Han didn't anticipate that ending…
Yes, actually for the first time, I found Yo Han to be surprised and not sure of what to do. True.

also maybe it’s just me but i don’t see any couples forming at the end of this. it’s not realistic bc there’s…
I also think romance will ruin this drama.

Title The Devil Judge Spoiler
TBH I was surprised that the minister killed herself. It was an easy exit for her. No retribution and just making the character commit suicide is a bit too simple I think. Just my thoughts. Ready to be convinced otherwise :) Peace!

I find a lot of parallels to real life, of the corruptions shown in this drama, in many places in the world. In the beginning of the drama it says, it shows a dystopian version of Korea, true. For Korea it is indeed dystopian but for many other places in this world this is the reality. Power, corruption, money ... ... a vicious cycle that never breaks. Just in reality there is no "Devil Judge". Sorry to be a buzz kill, just sharing my thoughts. Irrespective of all the issues I have (many have) with this drama I like it a lot. I feel the pain, frustration, anxiety, anger of the characters. They linger on even after the drama is over and the "real" life I live, I find parallels. What else does it need to be a successful drama? To everyone who is enjoying the drama lets hope there is light at the end of this dark tunnel. Because in life we do need to see and feel the light. Love to all!
