Yes, he was a world, famous comedian who took his own life because he had severe depressive disorder. In the beginning, the very beginning she did have PTSD, but then it warped into depression. All the sadness all the crying, the clinginess, the fear of being abandoned. But in the beginning, yes she did not have depression because she had flashbacks she had the noises come in basically everything that he suffers from. His PTSD plus survivors guilt, though is completely horrific to be honest.
25 and 26 were tough to get through and seemed like such long episodes. I found that I watched about 10 minutes…
Yeah, I agree. You never know when a trigger will pop out of nowhere so I had to stop the video be able to breathe properly and when I was ready to continue, I continued.

Depression has a lot of different side notes, keeping things to yourself not wanting to be a burden to others is one of them. That said people with depression take Robin Williams for example, would be there for others at the drop of a hat would always be wanting to know how other others are doing because they are hiding what they’re feeling themselves by helping others in this case. She never asked him and the excuse was because she didn’t want to pressure him, but I don’t think that’s the case. And then she got angry when he didn’t tell her. Hence mom was like did you even ask? Their miscommunication is literally a merry-go-round. You’ve got people that went through hell themselves noticing something is wrong as soon as the person returns but the one closest to him is oblivious? Maybe because she wanted to be oblivious. And what happened to that promise she made to his father? If you can’t help someone then you’re breaking a promise. I think I posted it down below that I was just aghast that a journalist wouldn’t look up what PTSD meant the second she found out that he had it, but in the following episode, sees what it can manifest into.

Oh, I know. I got through it though just took a lot of deep breathing. But it just struck me how SX was able to tell that something was wrong with LZ and he had only been there for a little while; same with Ben. Meanwhile, LZ’s own girlfriend didn’t pay attention enough. As mom said, she never asked nor really looked hard enough. I guess she’ll get a taste tomorrow. But now, he’s keeping her at arm’s length.
OK, I have to go slow with the rest of 26 as there are some triggering aspects for me in that scene especially with the PTSD and the hospital bed. Oh boy.
Though some of her speech in regards to his not telling her that he was going back was justified because she obviously doesn’t understand that he’s going there to heal himself because he hasn’t told her anything. I do feel that some parts of it was a little harsh because she herself hasn’t been telling the truth either. But I do think that the separation is very much needed. They need to work on themselves and understand that communication is key.
