Why triangle love again? i feel like all korean drama about two guys fighting over a girl?????
Are you new to Asian dramas? Majority of Asian romance dramas have love triangle. Of course not all Asian romance dramas have love triangle, but it is quite rare for Asian romance dramas especially Korean romance dramas, without love triangle.
Not just in the Korean romance dramas, but also romance in Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, Thailand and Philippines dramas. The love triangle is usually the main trope of the romance plot in Asian dramas.
If you want to watch Korean dramas without love triangle then whether you watch dramas that the main genre is not romance like crime/mystery/thriller genre or just search dramas that have two set of romance, the main couple romance and second couple romance.
Your right I have watched JJY's dramas she don't have any deep kiss in dramas. That would be a little disappointed…
Yes, Zheng Ye Cheng is a good kisser for romantic scene! Actually Zhang Zhe Han, Ju Jing Yi's co-star also has his fair share of good kiss in romantic scenes with another actresses. I had watch Zhang Zhe Han dramas with other actresses and he kiss just fine there.
But when he did a kiss scene in a drama with Ju Jing Yi, they just stuck lips LOL Then I read her fan's comment that it is her policy. Oh well, I will watch this because of Zheng Ye Cheng, he is my favorite actor.
Hi, I see that you are one of Zheng Ye Cheng new fan. What is your opinion of his kisses scenes? Some peoples…
Same opinion! And based on the bts and interview of Zheng Ye Cheng with Hu Yi Xian vs Zheng Ye Cheng with other actresses, I believe that they developed crush with each other while filming. Yes, I believe they have XD
I started to noticed him in drama "Love 020". While other fall for Yang Yang in the drama, I fall for him instead and watch his drama since then. He not only an actor with a handsome face, he also has a good acting skill.
If we want to evaluate based on his other passionate kiss scenes after The Sleepless Princess then we may have to wait for long time, maybe 2022 haha because his upcoming dramas:
-Mirror: Twin Cities (historical), second male lead. As my experience of watching Chinese dramas so far, it's rare for the second male lead get the chance to kiss the main female lead especially in a historical drama since the main male lead is the love of main female lead life LOL
-Love Under the Full Moon (modern), main male lead with Ju Jing Yi. If you watch her dramas she don't do passionate kiss. I watch three of her dramas and finished another one recently so overall four and no passionate kiss. At first I thought that is because of the script or director but then I read one of her fan's comment that it is her policy huhu
-Stealth Walker (modern), main male lead. It is mainly the crime genre. But maybe there will be a passionate kiss between the main leads here because there is also romance in the genre tags but I wonder when it will be airing.
-Bei Zhe Nan Yuan (modern), main male lead. Modern drama with female centered plot. So high possibility of passionate kiss here right? hehe But, 2022?! :'(
Sorry for my rant. I just feel that it's fun ranting with other people who like Zheng Ye Cheng as an actor too. Many of my physical friends who watch Chinese dramas don't know who is Zheng Ye Cheng LOL
Same! A Mydramalist member told me that in the novel the main female lead, Bai Ying (Yukee Chan), is Crown Prince…
That the fate of majority of the second male lead in Asian romance dramas. Sometimes they even die for the sake of the main female lead LOOL He upgraded from a general in The Sleepless Princess to a crown prince in here and looks hot in the stills. I'm so simp for his acting skill that I willing to torture myself by watching this drama when it air ahaha
This drama is only 7 episodes with lower than 30 minutes in each episodes yet they are still being lovey dovey in 3 episodes straight. I wonder what is the conflict that will arise in the reminder of the 4 episodes?
"The story of the amorous princess Luo Shimei, who was once a concubine..." I don't understand. Does that means she had married before and got divorced?
Oh no! I already read some of Yang Yang fan's comments that disagree with Zhao Lu Si as the main female lead because…
What is GP?
I'm excited for this drama as a Zhao Lu Si's fan because her character this time is different. I believe she will take this character seriously and work hard because she already know that people are doubting her ability to play this role.
But I'm worried that she will get scrutinize more since the main actor himself don't seem interested not to mention some of his fans think he is out of her league.
If Yang Yang accept this offer, I hope they can filming without any problem. I just want the best for her.
First ep was good but they shoud change the support cast. I feel like I see them in every lakorn watch.
The actors and actresses in Thailand usually signed a contract with the specific channel of television production. But there are also freelance actors and actresses.
For example, Mark Prin and Yaya Urassaya, the main casts of "Klueen Cheewit", they belong to Channel 3 while Mook Mookda that act in "So Wayree" belong to Channel 7. Their dramas will be air on that channel and usually they will act with other co-stars in the same channel or freelance actor/actress. So maybe that is why you see the same support cast in the specific channel. If you want to see different support casts then I guess you have to watch lakorns from other channel.
I just learn about this recently because I want Mik to act in a lakorn with Yaya but then I read comment that top and popular actor in different channel can't work together. So I googled a bit and read in another forum that posts mainly about the info of the lakorn production. But to be honest I still don't up to date with majority of the actors and actresses channel ahaha
I feel like this is kinda same case with some Chinese actors and actress, for example, Cheng Yi and Zhang Yu Xi that acted together in "Love And Redemption". They belong to the same agency, H&R Century Pictures so after the "Love And Redemption" become hit and Cheng Yi popularity increase, he get paired again with Zhang Yu Xi in Meng Xing Chang An and South Wind Knows My Mood.
I also see supporting casts act together again in another drama with the same director that they had worked before in Korean and Japanese dramas. But maybe Thailand entertainment industry is smaller than Korea and Japan not to mention Thailand popular plot are mainly about revenge and slapkiss so when they recycle the support casts they are are more noticeable than if it happen in Chinese/Korean/Japanese dramas. Anyway, as the audiences we see the dramas as an entertainment while the casts see dramas as a work. Of course they want to do that with people that they already feel comfortable.
Uhh sorry for the long essay, I just want to share info that I know just recently LOL
I like Sun Yi and Jin Han is OK but I won't try this for the same reason. Especially in Cdrama, love triangles…
In my experiences of watching Chinese dramas so far, in romance modern drama, usually the main male lead is the one that is tsundere towards the main female lead while in the historical romance drama, is it the main female lead that will be all tsundere and indecisive towards the main male lead. Not only that, even it proven that he willing to do anything for her, she still will constantly doubting him and broke his heart LOL
Of course not all Chinese romance dramas are like this but that is the usual pattern that I see haha
i about to give up on this drama already. i dont like how the FL treat the ML . even after learning how all the…

Of course not all Chinese dramas like that but I mainly watch romance genre and this is the common behavior in those genre haha
Why a sad ending? I don't get dramas these days. It seems like they think they can move audience's emotions more…
It like this, if Korean dramas are well known with their love triangle then Chinese dramas are well known with their sad and tragic ending in historical period LOL
And they have common trope that annoyed me, main couple childhood connections. It ok if they had met and fall in love in college or high school but while you are about 7 years old and still remember it? LOL
But I still watch Japanese/Korean/Chinese/Thailand/Taiwanese dramas ahaha

But what does it mean with 24 episodes per season? Does this drama will has more than 1 season?

Maybe Zheng Ye Cheng will reunite with Janice Wu later in other drama :-)
Btw, this is the first time I watch the drama of both main actor and main actress and they are so cute together! The main actor is just 20 years old but he looks so hot when he smile XD
