I like her character in Khing Kor Rar Khar Kor Rang remake too.
I know slap and kiss type of lakorns plot are full of possessive jerk main male lead with superpower strength that dragged the main female lead anywhere easily but at least let the main female lead fight back verbally.

Same and although it's a bit sad about Xue Mu one-sided love story I like that they make Xue Yao kind of continuing to protect Chu Yue in Xue Mu's place after his death after they get married rather than the brother is alive and a headache love triangle between Xue Mu, Chu Yue and Xue Yao.

I also appreciate that after Xing Chen realized he likes Chu Yue more than sibling he back out and don't interfere too much like other second male lead. He let Xue Yao and Chu Yue be together and even help them to prepare their almost second wedding although it get ruined huhu

And I'm happy with the happy ending but my complaint is why couldn't the screenwriter give Xing Chen his own partner? Even that annoying Na Xi has happy ending with her partner and truthfully I don't care about her at all ugh

I'm watching Start Up with Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk and all the love triangle in the drama giving me headache haish

Oh the main actor is 3 years younger than the main actress in real life.
Anyway, dramas with married couple in contract/forced/arranged marriage is my guilty pleasure LOL

So what is the main female lead job before she meet the main male lead?

Zheng Ye Cheng is one of my top favorite actor and I had watch Ju Jing Yi in "Legend Of Yun Xi", "The Blooms At Ruyi Pavilion", "In A Class Of Her Own" and "Mr Swimmer", I think she's not bad there so I'm really excited about this drama.

Then I stumbled upon a comment in Mydramalist from one of Ju Jing Yi's fan:
"Most of her dramas don't have kissing scenes. Actually she is the one who requested that she don't like kissing scenes. Its her policy."

Oh, that's why in her dramas that I had watch so far don't have deep/passionate kisses. At first I thought that is because the dramas scripts or the directors. Now I understand.

Zheng Ye Cheng is not only a good actor, he also a good kisser. Since after the drama "Love 020" where he is the supporting lead, all his aired dramas were in historical time and not to mentioned this drama plot is interesting, so I'm lying if I say I'm not disappointed at all after I know about this info at first LOL

Still, I actually like it better if I know the info about the dramas I anticipating beforehand like the main leads past acting skills and policy/request, the screenwriters and directors past projects. With these, I know what should I expect about the dramas when they finally airing.

But even if this drama just showing that Zheng Ye Cheng staring at the main female lead without any skinship between them at all I still will watch it. Why? Because it's ZHENG YE CHENG! XD

Finally, Wang You Shuo as main male lead!!! I like him in Young Blood and The Blooms At Ruyi Pavilion.

Majority of Asian romance dramas are like that especially romcom.

If you don't like it you can search dramas with tags like friend to lover or others

If you watch many Thailand dramas before, it always the main female lead that get abused so this is kind of reversed LOL

Since the main male lead is a merman, that means the main actor has to be bare chested in majority of the scenes in this drama right? And the main couples interactions must be in the sea or along the seashore unless he will gain human feet like Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

Is the novel end with happy ending? The original The Little Mermaid is pitiful huhu

Right? Like the drama "Start Up" with Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Seon Ho. The drama ships war in the comment LOL

And sometimes when there is a love triangle in the Asian dramas, I don't understand why the drama give the main female lead and second male lead better relationship development more than main female lead and main male lead but still let the main female lead end up with the main male lead. The second male lead will just end up as a pitiful character haish=_=

If it that hard to find the main male lead for Zhao Lu Si in this drama, how about just make Liu Xue Yi as the main male lead instead. He has acting skill and also looks good in historical costumes XD

If not please pair Zhao Lu Si with an actor who can act for this drama.

Based on the synopsis, Kim So Hyun as the main female lead, a princess, Ji Soo as the main male lead, On Dal, an ordinary guy, Lee Ji Hoon as the second male lead, an elite general who of coursee will fall for Princess Pyeonggang, and Choi Yoo Hwa as second female lead who is a beautiful woman that fall for the elite general.

Asian drama and their tiring love triangle=_= Why can't they just focus with relationship development between Princess Pyeonggang and On Dal and Princess Pyeonggang ambitious dreams to becomes the first female to lead Goguryeo rather than adding the unnecessary love triangle with the second male lead who I'm sure will become one of the pitiful second male lead here because he is "the elite general Go Geon, who is perfect in every way and for the first time in his life, he longs to make Pyeonggang his and dives into an intense fight for her heart"

And the second female lead description:
"a woman with a beautiful face, a meticulous personality, a special power to foresee the future, and a big secret of her own"

I don't want to pessimistic or like that but what annoyed me with some romance centered sageuk script are that other than tiring love triangle, sometimes they make second female lead character to be interesting and complicated more than main female lead=_=

Please writer, don't waste Kim So Hyun character here like her character in The Emperor: Owner of the Mask:'(

I read that in this drama the main female lead is the second wife of main male lead. Is it true?

Because some viewers feel that they are too long?

I don't care much since I'm used to it with the Chinese dramas especially in historical period that sometimes can reach more than 50 episodes XD

But I read a comment that there is a China's new 2020 law limiting dramas to 30ish episodes. So some drama like Renascence had to be drastically cut because it was filmed prior to the law. That also make some productions trying to get around it with seasons LOL

Because as far as I read many peoples including Korean netizens are excited to watch Kim So Hyun in historical drama again.

That is not unusual if you had watch many lakorn before XD

Their dramas are full with crazy and wild plot like Japanese dramas although they are different kind of crazy and wild LOL
