Everyone seems to hate the fl but honestly, her actions did make sense. If you were in her situation, the least…
I strongly agree with your comments about the main female lead in this drama.

The male lead here, Han Shuo is actually just a fictional character that the female lead, Xiao Qian created for her drama script. Moreover, he's been described as a vicious male lead in Xiao Qian original script.

In the original script, not only Han Shuo still killed the queen of Hua Yuan's city who is the mother of original female lead, Chu Chu even after he fell in love with Chu Chu, he also poisoned Chu Chu's sister, Qian Qian on their wedding night.

It gonna be so weird if the female lead that trapped in her own script falls in love so easily with the vicious guy that tried to poisoned her on their wedding night. After that, he also ordered his servant, Bai Ji to find some way to kill her. If I am in her situation, the first thing I think about is how I'm gonna get out of this script world ASAP not how can I romancing him LMAO

By the way, my top favourite trope for romance in the novel, drama or anime is the "male lead falls in love with the female lead first" because I really love watching the way obvious head over heels male lead doing many things just to pursuing the oblivious female lead haha XD

wow, just noticed that there are a bunch of the same actors from I Will Never Let You Go in this one!
The director of The Romance of Tiger and Rose & I Will Never Let You Go are the same person hehe

The ending in script world is Han Shuo died at age 20. I know that Han Shuo and Han Ming Xin is the same person so he not really die, but I'm kinda heartbroken for Han Shuo story ending huhu.

But thank God this is not like other time/soul travel drama where the modern female lead go back to her original time alone or I'm gonna crying nonstop. Btw, if there's really a season 2, could they give us at least one sweet bed scene on comfortable bed for our banana & orange LMAO

The part when Han shuo assulted Chen Qian Qian in ep 19 basically ruined the drama for me. I can't look at him…
I don't condone it but Han Shuo did it to test whether Xiao Qian still has her kung fu skill or not. Last time before she exiled him with the handcuff & guards, she told him that she still has her kung fu & lied because her plans was that he will feels pity to her, falls for her & don't siege HuaYuan city. So when he come back to HuaYuan city with Chu Chu, he want to know the real truth.

That's why after testing her he stop and said to himself that she really can't do kung fu anymore & just bluffing to him before that, and asking himself what the heck did he do.
