I agree with Zhao Lu Si that Zheng Ye Cheng has better skill in kissing scenes but her chemistry with Ding Yu Xi in TROTAR is great.

To me, for the low budget historical romance dramas that I had watch this year so far, the pairing of Zhao Lu Si-Ding Yu Xi in TROTAR and Zheng Ye Cheng-Hu Yi Xuan in TSP have the best chemistry. There may many other historical dramas that have better plot and I admit the plots of both of TROTAR & TSP become bit draggy near the end but I prefer romance genre since I'm such a hopeless romantic and I love these pairing so much.

I don't understand why did they think like that with Zhao Lu Si-Ding Yu Xi? I mean even if it is true Zhao Lu Si and Ding Yu Xi are not close after the drama that isn't any of my business because that is their personal life. But to suggest that Zhao Lu Si was trying harder than Ding Yu Xi is urmm weird?

And what they even means with "Zhao Lu Si was trying harder than Ding Yu Xi?" Because she is kinda hyperactive while filming TROTAR with Ding Yu Xi? As far as I know, Zhao Lu Si always being hyperactive on the set LOL

The scriptwriter of the Scarlet Heart 1 & 2 drama was the same with the Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty drama that's why you felt they are similar.

I agree with some of your comment with about Xue Yao above.

But I disagree with this part "Chu Yue, you are a military/soldier's wife, I hope you have a higher level of consciousness. Your husband is not a tool for lovey dovey moment, your husband is not just a pillow. He's a real human being and a soldier, he can't have only LOVE in his life".

As I see, after Chu Yue stopped running away because she falls for Xue Yao and then confessed about her feeling to him, from while they were still married until before he married Na Xi, she tried to tolerate, understand and communicate with him by being patience and also giving him times and chances.

For example, she told him the birthstone secret at dinner in the palace (although at that times he only thinking about his brother) because she believe in him, willing to gave him second chance after she knew he used her as a bait and even asked him the reason so she can understand why he did that and also asked why did he marry Na Xi when she in jail.

At all of those moments, he responded was "I don't want to get you involve with this", "give me some time", "that's none of your business".

It's not until he sneaked into the room to confronted her about her "affair" with Xing Chen and the pregnancy that she treated him bit coldly with slapping & pushing him away. And we must remember at the time she did this, she thought he is still Na Xi's husband.

Xue Yao is a handsome guy but I wonder if he is my husband, how long can I be patience with his secretive behavior?

What I mean is I don't totally blame Xue Yao being so secretive with her before although I admit it make me frustrated. He is someone who is used to just keep everything to himself. But I wouldn't say that Chu Yue don't make effort to understand him while they were in relationship.

Right now, it only fair for him to be the first one who trying to fix their relationship.

This drama is an adaptation from Fei Wo Si Cun's novel so I expect a lot of angst LOL

The main casts (if they are true) are good but I really have a problem with this writer. I dislike his dramas especially Time Slip Dr Jin ugh.

Such a shame because the story of real Princess Pyeonggang is really interesting.

Because many people quite annoyed with the main male lead right now LOL. He better grovel hard to this main female lead. She seriously one of the most forgiving main female lead ever. She tried many times to communicate and be understanding in their relationship until main male lead married the foreign princess. Although the main male lead actually married the foreign princess as a ploy with the emperor, I felt our main female lead bit quite tired now with main male lead behavior, that is, jumping into conclusion easily. I felt sad when sad for her when she said she who want to elope with him before was dead.

And to be honest other than Zheng Ye Cheng & Hu Yi Xuan chemistry in this drama's romance, other parts of this drama are quite slow and draggy. I prefer romance part more other than political or others in historical dramas, that's why I will watch it until the end. But other people that want to enjoy mystery or other parts may found this drama draggy so they decreased the rating or dropped this drama.

That's ok. Everyone have their own preference. Even it has high rating if it isn't your taste you will not like it either. Even it has low rating, if you like it you will watch until the end. We can't force peoples.

Same! Chu Yue forgive, tolerate and try to understand Xue Yao so many times. It his turn now!

From the summary of this drama, it sound like the alternate version of Peng Xiao Ran past drama, Goodbye My Princess.

A man drove your best friend to suicide and make her kingdom fall apart.

Then he fall in love with you and although you kind of fallen for him too, you can't forget about your revenge.

The difference with Goodbye My Princess is in that drama she died, in this drama the main male lead die LOL

Can you give a bit spoiler about Zheng Ye Cheng's character in the Mirror Twin Cities?

Is he gonna be the second male lead that change to evil character later and fight with main male lead because his wife, the main female lead like main male lead?

Or is he gonna be a selfless second male lead that protect, sacrifice himself for her and willing to let his wife, the main female lead be together with the main male lead for the sake of her hapiness?

I'm already feel like I'm gonna get second lead syndrome ughh hate it huhu

I don't know why there should be a pitting between The Sleepless Princess (TSP) and The Romance Of The Tiger And Rose (TROTAR).

The plots and descriptions of main couples characters for both dramas are different.
The only similarities perhaps are both about bickering forced marriage couples with some amount of romance and comedy.

I like the sweet chemistry between main couple in the both dramas.
I also like actor and actress in The Sleepless Princess just how I like the actor and actress in The Romance Of The Tiger And Rose.

Not everyone that like The Romance Of The Tiger And Rose will like The Sleepless Princess and vice versa.
It called "personal preferences."

Both "The Sleepless Princess" & "The Romance Of The Tiger And Rose" are about bickering married couple.

Although they are historical dramas, they are more to romance and comedy.

It seem the female lead already give her heart to male lead in ep 17 & 18 right?

She happy after he kissed her at the cave and being sweet towards him in the carriage after that.

But the male lead still make a gap between them.
I hope he quickly open his heart fully to her so we can see their sweet moments together before he has to marry the other woman later!
