You're probably new to her fandom. She just recently got a lot of bad reactions from a certain fangroup a few days ago from twitter. It's not even the only time she got bashed. Lost You Forever IMDB score can vouch for it for having lots of 1 scores from her haters.

Please link me where you see a fan(s) of hers asking for outrageous demands? - Make sure it's not a retaliation from her fans against a certain fanbase who always target her overall appearance and acting skills.
As a devoted supporter of Yang Zi, if a particular actor's fans target her, I feel too turned off to watch the actor's drama since the fanbase is so toxic. Back to giving out facts, this time I'll be talking about my favorite character in the anime, Zi Liu Hui aka Shi Ryuuki
At first, he is a happy-go-lucky guy with no sense of responsibility because he is an unlikely candidate for the throne. Due to the dying emperor's decree, he became the crown prince. But he doesn't want the responsibility, and he even spread a rumor about him liking guys! He wants his oldest brother (Zi Jing Lan) to be the emperor instead of him.
He fell in love with Hong Xiu Li when he met her for the first time. He admires her strong resolve to become the first female Imperial Court official. At first, his goal is to make her his consort, but he realizes that this would kill her lifelong dream. He later married her when she was ready to become his spouse, which she did in her 30s. She really spent almost all her life serving the monarchy as an official.
To make a long story short, Zi Liu Hui, aka Shi Ryuuki (anime name), only loved one girl throughout his life. His character changes 360° once he encounters Hong Xiu Li our FL. He became a better person and a great emperor. He never stops loving the FL, even though he has been rejected a hundred times.
I'm a sucker for the kind of male lead who shows the female lead a lot of love and attention without pressuring her into doing anything that would be harmful to her. Instead, he respects her decisions, pushes her to pursue her goals, and is willing to wait until she is ready for him.

I might use the same argument when I post something about Deng Wei's next role as a villain. Justifying all of his actions and trampling on the male lead's love filled mind about the heroine. 🖤

Yes! She is. In the anime, she did not know that the tea she was serving him was slowly poisoning him. He wants her to kill him because, in his own twisted mind, he knows that's the only way he will be forever in the FL's head.
In the anime, Shuurei doesn't want to entertain love thoughts for anybody because she wants a different path for herself; however, Sa Sakujun was able to slightly stir up her feelings for the first time because he is really good when it comes to seducing her whenever they are alone.
I really like her strong resolve as a female lead. According to the novel, she only allowed her heart to be completely occupied by Shi Ryuuki, aka Zi Liu Hui when she had already reached her goal of becoming a female official and then she married him.
When my pastime is looking at LYF offcam moments on weibo and checking on new updates of Deng Wei. Sometimes reading chinese novels on Novel updates while listening to the drama OST. I don't think I'm moving on anytime soon.
I personally think this is one of the best Chinese dramas in years and it's not even done yet.
