Very excited for this drama! Can't wait for 18 June to come! Finally watching it with English subtitles! And don't have to be too concerned about the actual age gap. Their age gap is not as big in the drama as it is with that in real life. They hit off on screen, and I love watching their scenes. But I'm not expecting too much from this drama. I still think that it will be a decent one. But I love Dylan Wang, and I'd watch it for him. So good seeing him shed his "bad boy" image which was created when he played Dao Ming Si in the Meteor Garden 2018 reboot. Can't wait to see our cute Qi Xiao and our lovely Shen Ruo Xin onscreen! Jiayou to the cast and crew of TRL!!!! 🤞🤞👍👍
Edit: So I just binged 7 episodes, which is a lot to me as I usually watch 1-3 episodes a day. Shows that it's a good sign! So far so good. This seems to be an interesting drama. Looking forward to see more episodes, as well as Shen Ruo Xin and Qi Xiao! 🤘🤘🤘
Same thoughts! I am also rooting for the main couple. Seeing the comments, I think it's just us, or some more…
I feel bad for Dylan and Bambi when they are constantly compared to the SL couple, but I think they must have accepted this. I wished the writing for the main couple was as good as the SL one, and I wish that this drama hadn't stuck to ancient times, it should have progressed to republican to modern era as the lifetimes progress.
Damn and I liked so much her lifetime as a female general. :'(She was so badass and strong willed. Episodes 18-28…
Yes. The FCY parts are the most interesting. I liked her as the general. Also, seeing the other two, Liu Ying and Ayu, as damsels in distress, it was very refreshing to see her in this avatar. And I prefer strong female leads than weak ones, because the weak and naive ones tend to get very cringy, and unreal.
So I'm up to Ep. 30 - Honestly I don't hate the drama. I really am rooting for the main couple and all the lifetimes…
Same thoughts! I am also rooting for the main couple. Seeing the comments, I think it's just us, or some more people, who see chemistry between the main couple. I also live the side couple, and they overshadowed the main couple because their parts were better written. I loved Qing Qing and the moments between the Dragon King and Xue Qian Xun were so funny, especially when they argue, or when Qing Qing catches them in an awkward position, lol 🤣 I think this trio saved the drama, as well as me being a Wang He Di fan, from me dropping it. To me, in the starting, it wasn't that interesting. Some moments made me cringe, but it got interesting when Liu Ying was reincarnated as a general. It was refreshing to see a girl as a general, and I actually liked the fight scenes. They were well done. Finished episode 28, and so far I like Feng Chen Yue the most, as this part was the most interesting. Cant waitbto watch further!!!!
