Alibaba is spinning off its businesses into 6 units, one of which is the digital media and entertainment which…
I was reading about the Alibaba split in business/economy news the other day, lol I never thought these things would not only affect my portfolio but also my drama watching! š
There is a new drama called "New Tales of Wulin Heroes" on Youku app, with 24 short-length episodes (around 7 minutes per episode), I think it's a continuation of Wulin Heroes?
Thank you my friend for this great & thought-provoking article!!
Imagining a different ending, or filling out blanks is what I usually do in many Chinese dramas regardless of the ending -- even if it's not a cliffhanger/open ending, lol!
Also, I love your point of view of loving the dramas for the journey, not just the destination!
And with those thoughts in mind I may actually be convinced to finally give Princess Agents, Tribes and Empires, and Ever Night 1 &2 a chance... Or stop anxiously waiting for the 2nd season of Joy of Life, and read the book instead! :D
Another thing I'd like to point out is that the better the drama, the more frustrating it is when there is a cliffhanger ending, so that's a reason many of us get traumatized with those endings.
Ok everyone is going crazy over this drama with it all being romantic and full of heartfelt scenesš« š. But…
The true overall rating of a show in MDL can only be stabilized after all the episodes have been released, before that it doesn't make much sense anyway!
It' just my theory but - latetly so many titles are dropped/banned/or for whatever reason cancelled, and they…
I'm a VIP, they don't have English subs. Funny in the other drama I mentioned (Echo, a part of the Light On Series) they've added Eng subs for some newer episodes, but not for the first 3-4, but they all have e.g. Spanish subs! :D

Yeah, but both this (Miles to Go) and Echo (another drama that I noticed it) have multiple subs on many other languages (Arabic, Indonesian, Spanish ! , Korean, Thai, etc.), but NOT in English, so it doesn't make sense? :/ I could understand if they only offered Chinese subs, but if they've time to make Spanish subtitles (so another European/"Western" language), why not the English ones?
