MJH carrying around and taking care of ML after she 'dies' is exactly the kind of unhinged devotion i love to…
And all I could think about in that scene was rigor mortis, didn’t he as a soldier realise it was a bit weird that she’s been dead for 6 days and she had not one leak or changing of her skin colour or anything that comes with a dead body? 😭🥲 like in that carrying scene, she was dead for 3 days by then and she was way too limp and movable, didn’t he realise?!😭 Sorry for being too graphic, being a nurse I couldn’t ignore it! 😭🥲
I can’t wait to see where The Story of Pearl Girl takes us! Not just for the powerful, female-led journey but…
I truly wish for this too, I don’t want this drama to be depressing for depressions sake, but at least moments of peace and a happy ending with all of that you mentioned!
So excited, I was just thinking the other day how exciting it would be if these two worked together! I loved Lusi for ages, and William since Pearl Eclipse! So good!
Wow the dynamics between K and Soo Yeol was my favourite part hahah, K teacher so much to Soo Yeol, and that ending episode! Wow so good! I love that Soo Yeol and K kind of mesh together/ become one person, it’s a special touch from the writers, and makes you really think back to that K and Soo Yeol is actually one person from the start!
7.5 / 10I liked this drama a lot, but didn't love it entirely. The acting, cinematography, and the score was top…
I agree, for me the ending especially felt forced. Like come on at one point you have to forget the plot and see that things that happened only happened for the sake of making the view suffer/getting as much emotional reaction of the viewer as possible. But a lot of the time this made the story feel disingenuous, and made it hard for me to invest myself.
This movie might not be for everyone, but I found the protagonist funny and endearing. The moment that stays with…
I completely agree with you on everything you said, and as to why parents only become the parents we wanted as kids when we’re grown— I think it is most likely that adults too have to learn how to be parents, they aren’t just born with the knowledge. (I’m sure they are biologically coded to love us, but the dos and don't they don’t just appear out of nowhere) And sadly for some, this learning process can take a long while, meanwhile we just grew up. But I bet if our parents could go back to redo it all they would do it in a heartbeat for our sake.
The drama starts really slow. Nothing much happens apart from longing looks of ML and akward falling in love.…
Oh I see, I might be biased because where I’m from nobody would be able to speak fluent English, not from what they learned in school anyways. They don’t teach us to that level and from what I can remember the only word I still know I learnt was balloon. So that’s why I tough this was unrealistic at first.
And if you’re done with that watch Hidden Love, played by Zao Lu Shi she’s my favourite, Chen Zheyuan, male…
How about Dating in the kitchen? Came out in 2020, it’s very good, played by Zao Lu Si as well, male lead is also amazing, let me know if you seen it or when you watched it what you think!
