Incredible drama. It's definitely my most favorite drama of 2019. The writing and the directing was superb, and the performance of the cast was marvelous.
The ending of the drama provided the possibility of a second season. Although the chances of having a second season are slim as the majority of dramas rarely have another season, I genuinely hope that there will be another one. I would love to see more of the quartet.
My expectations were low for this drama, but I must say that it's actually quite good. I enjoyed the first two episodes and Im Soo Hyang's performance.
This drama was like a giant bag of chips. Although it's oily and bad for you, you can't help but consume them all. While the drama didn't live up to my expectations, my curiosity got the best of me and I had to finish it to see the end result. I can't say I thoroughly enjoyed the drama; the plot was messy and there were several cringe-inducing moments. Yet despite all this, I would still watch the second season out of curiosity.
Is Liam Hemsworth's life in tatters for divorcing Miley Cyrus? Why should this young mans life be in tatters just…
I think the divorce isn't necessarily what caused Ahn Jae Hyun's image to be in tatters. His tainted image is due to what his wife revealed. His wife claimed that he cheated on her and was rude and dismissive towards her. As you can imagine, people were angry to hear this, and his image took a hit because of her statement.
Just a side note that I'm trying to state this as neutral as possible. I'm not taking any sides. Besides, there are three sides to every story: his story, her story, and the truth.
The webtoon isn't finished because I believe the author had health issues (might be incorrect about this, but that's what I gathered from reading the author's note), but if you go to the original website (http://webtoon.daum.net/webtoon/view/joalarm) and view Chapter 162, you can see who she ends up with. I don't know if the two are endgame or if the author has different plans though.
He is/was my favorite one. Honestly so disappointed they got rid off him like that :(
Wait, what? I haven't watched the latest episode yet. I'm assuming he got sent somewhere else or in the worse case scenario, he got killed. Bummer if he was because he was also my favorite character.
The chemistry between Deng Lun and Sandra Ma is great. While there are some amusing scenes in the drama, I'm not really feeling it as a whole. I think at this point I'm only watching just to see the interaction between Ze Yu and Fu Zi. Also, I wish Fu Zi would stop talking with her mouth full. Does a scene of her talking without food in her mouth even exist?
I don't think it is. The drama revealed Yi Young's age (27 in Korean age) but has yet to for Yoon. If the drama made Yoon younger than Yi Young then I would be flabbergasted because Yoon is visibly older than Yi Young.
Sang Hoon is the epitome of that extremely irritating and rowdy boy in your class who is always up to something and obnoxiously giggles and guffaws. In real life, I would be annoyed, but in this drama, I adore him.
Mary is right -- the "stupid method" to cure the smallpox was actually legitimate. A quick Internet search reveals that the cow pox virus was used in the making of the first vaccine. Very interesting.
Looking at the synopsis, it's like the writer pasted a bunch of ideas on a wheel and tossed some darts. It does feel overwhelming, but I'm curious to see how it plays out.
I really like soo yeong i think she has feelings for kim young -gun . Maybe after she missed an evidence in the…
I also can't see her as someone who would do something like that, but with all these shady characters and their hidden motives, I'm not so sure anymore. To be honest, I think the idea of her harboring feelings for Young Goon is strange and abrupt. They look like colleagues and nothing more. Additionally, OCN usually doesn't include romance in their dramas. I'm not entirely against the thought of them being in a relationship since I have no idea which direction the drama will take us in, but I would definitely find it weird.
We finally get to see the truth behind Soo Yeon's "boyfriend". I did anticipate that he didn't exist due to the amount of times the camera focused on the caller ID. I eagerly await the next episode.
I'm torn; I don't know what to believe in anymore. Is it a red herring or is it the truth? Was the scene at the end of Episode 8 more of Young Goon's vision or is the drama stating that it actually occurred?
