"why did the director have to leave" — Didn't he receive a letter of dismissal? I think the letter said that due to the way he managed the hospital, the board lost money, so they decided to dismiss him. I can't remember the exact contents of the letter, but I believe it was something to that extent.

Agreed—he'll most likely become more romantically interested in her seeing that she's the only one he can trust. I feel bad for him cause there's no way he'll win her heart since Joon Hwi's the male lead. And yeah, the actor who plays Shi Wol puts on a good performance.

I actually like the dynamics between Shi Wol and Chung Ah. It's fun to watch them together.

I agree with lilmrssunshine. This documentary explores some heart-wrenching topics such as poaching and mistreatment of animals (particularly elephants). It's extremely upsetting and awful to see what these animals go through.

I really enjoyed the first episode! Seok Kyu doesn't disappoint with his charming performance. Hye Seop and Sung Kyung's acting were pretty good as well. It's also nice to see some familiar faces return.
Initially, for some reason, I thought Ah Reum was in the first season, but it turns out she's a new character. I think she might become one of my favorite characters—she's quite adorable, especially with her height difference with Eun Jae.

Tae Rang slapping his sister and rebuking her after she showed little remorse is brilliant. It's astonishing how bullies tend to think very little of their actions, so it's refreshing to hear Tae Rang point out how deeply affected the victims are. Although it's slightly frustrating that he won't directly reveal her secret to their father, at least he's passive aggressive about it. I'm sure the thought of her family eventually discovering her secret is torturing for Hae Rang—an agonizing experience which she fully deserves.

I didn't know Lee Bo Young has a new drama. Her performance in Mother was remarkable. I'll definitely have to check this out when it airs.

Chil Sung and Taek Soo are probably the most adorable sidekicks in this drama.

I enjoyed the Bourne series, so I decided to pick up Treadstone, and I'm glad I did. The fight choreography is brilliant, and the story of Hye Joo's character, So Yun, is one of my favorites. It's clear that she's worked hard for this show.

I strongly agree with your comment. I think the drama focused too much on developing Dan Oh and Haru's romance. While it was endearing to see them together, I think more effort could have been made to explore the world. It's such an intriguing concept, and it's a real shame that the drama failed to maximize its potential. I still enjoyed the drama, but I think I would have loved it more if it showed more of these aspects.

He does not end up with Dan Oh, but I think I would use "peaceful" to describe his ending.
