Thanks for the list! Hope you stay safe as well. Lots of dramas, but I'm not sure if any will interest me aside from Memorist and 365 which I'm currently watching. I might pick up Nobody Knows, Kingdom 2, and Hospital Playlist, and as for the upcoming dramas, I might check out Extracurricular.
I enjoyed the first two episodes quite a bit. The lighthearted tone at the start surprised me, but then it escalated pretty fast.
I'm interested to learn more about how the reset works along with its rules since none of the participants asked about it. If they go back in time, what happens to the other people? Shin said that she relives her life again at a certain time, so does this mean that every time she resets, the rest of the world—including Hyeong Ju and Ga Hyeon—unknowingly reset too? Or does this reset scenario create another dimension or timeline? I'm very curious about this aspect, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of this drama.
I like Shin Ye Eun, but I have to say that my expectations are low for this drama based on the synopsis. I also wished they kept the original title instead of switching to some... unflattering title. But whatever, I'm going to give this a chance and see how it plays out. I also want to see the cat—it's quite cute.
I see what you're saying, but regarding Cha Eun Jae's case—taking the pills wasn't what cured her. Her trauma…
I see. I assumed that was unclear, so I thought I'd expand on it more. But I do agree with your second point. I think that scene was better than her trauma in terms of character development although her trauma did contribute to her reason of standing up against her mother.
So in the end, Woo Jin character development was that someone paid off his loan and Chan Eun Jae got took some…
I see what you're saying, but regarding Cha Eun Jae's case—taking the pills wasn't what cured her. Her trauma was related to the stress she experienced which stemmed from her mother's high expectations of her due to her family's prestigious background. Master Kim gave her pills as a placebo effect to show her that she could overcome her trauma mentally instead of relying on medicine.
I want to like this drama, but there's something about it that feels dull and makes me lose interest when watching it. I don't know if it's the acting or the writing. Perhaps it's the way the characters are portrayed in this drama with the police being incompetent and the reporters being annoying and nosy. Also, I didn't like how Joon Young revealed Tae Pyung's identity and ability to Do Kyung as well as his prophecy regarding Do Kyung's death. Wouldn't it be proper to conceal these things as a detective? Those scenes bothered me.
Why? How's she related to Director Do and his son? Something that was shown in the preview or? :D I didn't watch…
By any chance, are you interpreting "related" as "blood-related"? If so, I don't think they are. If I understood Claudia correctly, I believe she was saying since Ah Reum knows In Bum, she probably knows his father. If not, then I'm assuming you haven't watched Episode 10. It revealed that Ah Reum knows In Bum. The two seem close since he smiled when he received a phone call from her.
I agree with the other comments' sentiment that the main couple's kiss wasn't heart-fluttering. But personally, I think the kiss wasn't supposed to be romantic. Woo Jin called it a "reset" which I interpret as him wanting to regain that former gap in their relationship. After he kissed her in med school, the two became distant. Woo Jin kissed her again to recreate that distance. I suppose Eun Jae knew too much about his situation, and he preferred to keep it to himself seeing how he constantly rejected her offer to help with the shark loans. Edit: Okay, after watching Episode 9, Woo Jin's reason for kissing Eun Jae in med school is absurd. I thought he kissed her because she was getting to close to him, but no. It was for some peculiar reason.
I understand now why they didn't show the deaths of the detectives when Tae Pyung looked at them. I wonder what causes them to die on the same day at the same time and if Joon Young is connected to that event.
Episode 8 was beautiful and heart-wrenching! With that ending, I hope we get to know more about what happened in med school. Also, I hear that Yang Se Jong is making a cameo. I would be glad to see Dr. Do again.
I agree with the majority of your points, especially the parts regarding Eun Jae's personality and the unobtrusive romance. One area that disappoints me is the lack of Yeon Hwa. I liked her and Nurse Park's relationship in season one, so I'm disappointed to see that she's not in the second season. I don't think she'll reappear since they seem to be setting us up for a Nurse Park x Ah Reum loveline. Other than that, although I have some minor gripes about season two, they are trivial enough to not ruin my enjoyment. I love Dr. Kim and his charismatic personality. He can be stern and a little too harsh at times, but it just adds to his charm. I think it would be nice to have someone like him as a mentor.
The first episode was decent but not impressive. However, the ending did have me hooked. To be honest, I personally think the synopsis from VIU is excessive, and it nearly turned me off from watching the drama. I feel like it should be shorter and more concise.
