My intention was to wait for this drama to finish airing so I could binge it, but as I'm reading the comments and discussions on here and on Douban and Weibo, I'm so close to caving in and just watching it as it airs. I think I might just go for it because the wholesome, familial atmosphere is something I'd like to have now, and I think it would be a treat to watch their journey with others as it airs.

It seems like the brothers experienced a difficult life when they went abroad. If I'm not reading too much into it, Zi Qiu reacted strongly when Tang Can poked his back, leading me to assume that he was in a rough spot, and it also seems like his financial situation isn't good. Ling Xiao's scar might indicate abuse or harassment. I wonder what happened to them during those nine years.

It seems to be doing fairly well with a score of 8.6 on Douban based on ~44k ratings. I am not sure about its viewership ratings though.

Yes, I appreciate those transitions and the color and light distinctions as they're a clear indication of the shift in worlds.

In my opinion, the romance doesn't seem to be taking over too much of the story at the moment. However, only four episodes have aired, so I'm not sure if this will change moving forward.

I'm really enjoying this drama, and I think it does an excellent job at minimizing confusion regarding which world or character is currently being shown. I'm also impressed by Yoon Shi Yoon; he melted right into his roles, and I think he does a superb job at portraying Seo Do Won A and B as entirely different people. I hope that the drama maintains its quality and doesn't degrade over the span of the remaining episodes.

I didn't think that was the case until I looked up other popular dramas and noticed they had significantly less comments compared to this one. That's insane—I never fully realized how many comments this drama has until now.

I typically watch dramas when I eat dinner. This drama airs in the morning for me, so I have to resist the urge and regard it as a treat after a day of hard work and cooking. It's also good to watch during a meal as I won't be feeling hungry while watching the actors eat.

I'm sorry to hear about your sleep paralysis. While I haven't experienced anything of the sort, I've had a relative who experienced frequent nightmares and other frightening conditions. Ye Ji's performance brought back strong memories of those times, so I felt really sympathetic for her. She's killing it as MY.

I saw other people mention that they cried when MY sobbed after her sleep paralysis experience. I didn't expect to also tear up when I watched MY wail and grip KT's shirt. The whole cast is excellent, but Seo Ye Ji in particular is doing a stellar job. Her distressed performance was extremely convincing, and her wails eerily reminded me of a relative's frequent weeping.

This is my own sentiment, but I feel like So Joo Yeon looks a little too mature to play a high school student. As for Kim Yo Han, I don't know much about him, but this project seems to be his acting debut. Having said that, if the casting is confirmed, I hope they can do well and abate my concerns.

Great to see Wang Juan and Zhang Ruo Yun teaming up again for another drama! Looking forward to watching this.

Agreed—I also like Zhang Xincheng, but I'm feeling tentative about this drama because of the points you brought up, especially regarding Lin Yun and how adaptations of other countries' dramas tend not to do well. I don't know how strongly those aspects will affect the performance of the drama, so I feel rather nervous for its future.

I didn't watch this, but from what I've read so far, I think it's receiving backlash not only because of the age gap, but also due to the fact that it was adapted from an adult webtoon. The webtoon apparently incorporated sexual elements while portraying the romance between a highschooler and a man (I believe he's in his thirties, please correct me if I'm wrong).
