Yeah, it’s like you watch for 2 hours and that’s it ...... over before you even get attached. (Just for convenience sake)
But honestly movies still carry more weight and usually reach a bigger audience. The whole big screen vs small screen thing is real .....film actors still get treated like they are in another league even if streaming;s starting to blur that line. (So it's good for him too)
Hope he confirms — I just need Uhm Tae Goo on my screen again. Wish he'd do more movies though. Also, this low-key sounds like his character’s headed for a tragic ending.
Still episod 2,, this drama too much flashback,, Chinese drama always like that, flashback most of the story.…
It’s pretty clear from the colors and the focus on certain characters. The 2000s timeline centers on HGP(so if HGP's there then it's 2000), then Jiang Yang dominates 2003–2005, and Yan Liang in the 2010s. The 2000s are bright, 2003–2005 duller but still somewhat colorful, and the 2010s are nearly grey. This visual progression matches the story and the characters’ experience.
They really did cast the perfect actor for Jiang Yang. Bai Yu makes the character feel strong and yet so heartbreakingly…
For real… I know it’s fictional, but it honestly felt like Jiang Yang was a real person, working so tirelessly for justice, and here I am just watching him.
This had every chance to be the most intense and chilling drama ever… and yet it completely fumbled it. The cast, though, was phenomenal—they basically carried the entire show on their shoulders.

It's a German series called "dark".
God I hope its not...
Don't want it to fall into the category "ship so good one of them die".
This series could have been it yk...but there was a problem with the writer and other things ....
