The 2000s timeline centers on HGP(so if HGP's there then it's 2000), then Jiang Yang dominates 2003–2005, and Yan Liang in the 2010s. The 2000s are bright, 2003–2005 duller but still somewhat colorful, and the 2010s are nearly grey. This visual progression matches the story and the characters’ experience.
They really did cast the perfect actor for Jiang Yang. Bai Yu makes the character feel strong and yet so heartbreakingly…
For real… I know it’s fictional, but it honestly felt like Jiang Yang was a real person, working so tirelessly for justice, and here I am just watching him.
