A Strong Story with Flaws
I had high hopes for Blossom, and while it delivered in parts, it also left me a little frustrated. The beginning is gripping, full of clever moves and emotional depth. But as the story goes on, the pacing becomes uneven, and some weak writing and rushed arcs drag it down. The directing also felt sloppy in places, which hurt the impact of key moments.
The saving grace is the cast — the leads especially. They carried the drama, even when the script didn’t give them enough. The romance is light but heartfelt, and the final episodes brought decent closure.
Blossom could have been excellent, but instead it’s just good. If you can overlook its flaws, it’s still an enjoyable watch.
