Yes, I just found a new video that explained this. So after XLH died, her spirit was kept by Chidi woman. DFQC found a way to resurrect XLH through her teacher Siming. It took hundreds of years for her to become human again. But after she became the Xilan goddess, her memory was sealed. I think it is at this time that CH found out about her and took XLH back to the heavenly realm.
I have seen several Chinese videos of the drama in YT talking about the plot. I don’t know if they air the drama faster in China or not, but I’m pretty sure they are accurate as I have also seen the same channel talking about future episodes of Immortal Samsara and they are exactly the same as what was said in the video. As I also understand Chinese, here’s what to expect from the future episodes.
1. The way to release the binding spell between DFQC and XLH was by using an ancient sword. The method was to stab either one’s heart and DFQC chose to stab his own.
2. To revive Chidi woman, DFQC requires XLH’s help and starts manipulating her. XLH misunderstood and thinks DFQC loves Chidi woman, hence the reason why he was trying to revive her.
3. This one I believe we all know as it appeared in the MVs, XLH eventually killed herself. From several videos that I’ve seen, part of the reason is due to manipulation and another is to let DFQC be free.
4. Chidi woman and RH were in love, but RH actually died during the war with DFQC, and Chidi woman revived him using an ancient method, which in turn caused her to be punished to the mortal world for tribulation. Hence explaining why she was in the mortal world.
5. After XLH becomes Xilan Goddess, in order to protect DFQC, she agreed to return to the heavens to marry CH, even though by now she was not in love with him.
