I think episode 23 and 24 will be the relationship turning point of DFQC and XLH. From the looks of it, XLH will start to fall in love even deeper without realizing it. Forget about DFQC, he’s already whipped the moment they met. Lmao

I really like how the story progresses. Every episode is engaging, even the mortal world is so much fun, unlike other xianxias that are usually boring. This drama is by far the best one I’ve seen. I love the bromance between DFQC and CH. I don’t know if I’ll be able to take on the angst after all the fun they had in the mortal world.

The current CH did not seem to have a hidden motive towards XWQ at the moment, so why would he kill XWQ? And also there is a fragment of Chidi falling sick and finally dying, it did not happen yet. XLH also said the destiny book does not write in detail as to what and when things are going to happen, but the big events of her life. So maybe her real destiny is not to die on her wedding night and the assassination is just part of what she needs to go through and is the most dangerous part of her tribulation because if she really died, then her soul would be dispersed. Even RH was worried and went down to accompany her. I think there is more about her destiny, I just don’t think it’s complete.

But when baby XWQ’s premodial spirit was removed by Xunfeng, she did not die and disperse immediately as she should, didn’t she? And both DFQC and XF were confused.

I might get why XLH poisoned DFQC now. I believe the marriage in the mortal world is just to save XWQ from getting killed because obviously XLH will try to protect Shuiyuntian people, while DFQC on the other hand must not let XWQ die in her tribulation if he wished to revive her. But XLH also knew that DFQC has another plan for XQW (even though she didn’t know exactly what it is), so she poisoned him. I think RH tricked XLH in doing so because RH obviously also did not want to let XWQ die. At the moment RH was hurt badly and had not recovered, so I think that’s why he resorted into tricking XLH to poison DFQC.

My guess about the wedding is they are trying to save XWQ from getting killed on her wedding. Since XLH is loyal to Shuiyuntian, she surely wouldn’t let anything happen to Shuiyuntian people and DFQC on the other hand must not let XWQ’s tribulation fail if he wished to revive her. So I suppose DFQC will marry XWQ and XLH will marry XR just for the sake of saving these 2 people.

If what I’ve seen so far from those Chinese videos that discussed about the plot is correct, what you mentioned will be the time they’re trying to undo the binding curse. It is said that the way to undo the curse is to stab either one’s heart with the ancient sword. There is a scene that XLH was arguing with DFQC, she said we should share the burden and DFQC angrily answered that it’s enough for him alone to shoulder the burden. I assume this is before XLH went to that place and then as always he found her, stopped her and maybe told her to go inside that coffin (sorry I have no other better word for this horrible thing). DFQC chose to stab his own heart and they successfully break the curse.

Hmm.. but I’ve seen a video that said otherwise. It is said that RH died during the war, and Chidi revived him. As a result she was punished to the mortal realm. But what you said made more sense, because if RH died in the war, she wouldn’t have enough time to revive him and then kill herself to seal DFQC.

But I’ve seen a video that explained XWQ’s Mr Right IS DFQC. But deep down in her heart, she yearns and feels connected to RH. I think the mortal tribulation is for XWQ to suffer in many ways, and one of which is love. A lot of xianxia dramas often gave really cruel fate to the those who went for tribulation.

I’ve seen the video you mentioned. DFQC was poisoned at that time and I assume XLH tried to save him (for whatever reason) because her blood has healing power. The same video also showed RH giving XLH a bottle of poison. And then DFQC said this is the third time you drugged me. So I assume XLH was the one who poisoned him.

Episode 21 will be about the 4 of them wondering why would CH kill XWQ, if it is going to cause their tribulations to fail and die. They still couldn’t understand the reason. XLH said a nice thing about CH that made DFCQ jealous.

Episode 22 is about CH trying to find XLH. This also made DFQC unhappy because even after he erased the memory of XLH, CH still remembers her.

No, she isn’t going to die. I’ve seen a video about this curse thing between them. I’m not sure if either one needs to die or not for the curse to be removed, but the video explained that in the end DFQC chose to stab himself with the sword to remove the binding curse because he couldn’t bear to hurt XLH. He didn’t die because he is supposedly a true immortal, like Rong Hao said in an earlier episode. I’m not sure if this immortality is linked to his ability to use hellfire, but the binding curse is successfully broken afterward. I assume this happened before he loses hellfire.
