I have some thoughts regarding XLH as a character which have been bugging me for a while. So apparently XLH up until now does not fully understand the extent of the curse that binds her with DFQC. She only knew they shared feelings and nothing else, and she never thought how much it affects him. She was never even aware that she caused so much physical injuries on DFQC and almost killed him multiple times due to her recklessness. Making her a clueless damsel in distress that needs protection at the cost of DFQC’s feelings, physical injuries and even his life may give us awww moments but I feel it does not pave the way for her to grow as a character. It says a LOT about DFQC, but not her. I understand that she is portrayed as an innocent and carefree person, but after she awoke as the goddess she FORGOT about him. This cluelessness and continued whitewashing thereafter is dragging her character down. Even her suicide seemed an easy way out. All it took was a few words from XF. I actually was hoping she would at least do something that shows just as much in return for all the things DFQC did for her. With her death, we can say she gave her all, but again at the expense of DFQC.

I feel that the coming episodes might be a bit rushed and will not do enough justice for her character development. I also hope they don’t turn her all righteous and mature overnight just because she became Xilan Goddess. I want to see her grow as a character, just like DFQC did.

I actually have no problem with how she is most of the time, but am worried that XLH’s overall character will be messed up at the end of the drama. She is supposedly a goddess and leader of her tribe. Her clan is said to rose to power on their own ability. By downplaying her character to become such a klutz doesn’t sit right if she is to inherit such an important role if you know what I mean. Especially if they’re going to play with amnesia and make her wake up with a completely different identity and responsibility. And if they simply make her regain her memory to retrieve back her old character and make ends tie, it’s like saving her face and her character will be totally ruined. With only 11 episodes left and a lot of things still yet to happen, I hope they can make it good for XLH.

Yeah, I dont think he’s all that bad. He was manipulated by RH and had a misunderstanding with his brother, which explained the hatred before, but after that he seemed to have truly forgiven DFQC. They used to play together as children, so I assume XF’s hatred only started after the killing of the father. From the trailer, he will tell XLH to kill herself so that DFQC can return to how he used to be. I assume he’s going to blame her for the things that happened, for making DFQC fall in love and losing his hellfire. I’m not sure if he really covets the leader position as it was not mentioned in the spoiler. The trailers sometimes do not reveal the whole truth, like one of the comment here mentioned before, the lines said were deliberately picked to fit the scene, not exactly what is said. I believe these 2 brothers deserve some love, they suffered so much as children, they grew up with so much hate it’s heartbreaking

So XLH’s case will be different? She only needs to be recultivated to return? But in a way, they both kill themselves (albeit for a different purpose), so her spirit also scattered right? Is it because Siming knows the way to regrow XLH which made it easier for her to return back and didn’t have to go through tribulation like CD?

Dude almost lost his mind and kill everybody in a rage when she died. He’ll regain hellfire due to grief and the power will be even more terrifying. I can’t wait for that scene.

Yeah, there are many videos on YT about CLJ, there is a channel I remember watching about IS and they tell accurate predictions. But I might have get the channel mixed up with another as this other one tells a bit of truth but made up the rest. I’ve seen the vids of the spoilers that you mentioned. Shined much needed light. Lol

But I’m still wondering, for 30.000 years CD has been experiencing hardships over and over again just to reincarnate once? Like, why? Was it part of the requirement? If it’s part of the requirement, then wouldn’t XLH also need ten thousand years or so to reincarnate again? But from the spoiler it didn’t seem like she even took that long. Was it because DFQC gave his cultivation away that she took a much faster time?

Yeah, poor boy born at the wrong place and time I say. He has integrity and looks out for the well being of his people but people demonize him just because he rose above them.

The fake marriage thing, even though it is manipulation, in this case there is no other choice. Because the destiny is already so messed up due to their interference, they need to fix it somehow. But I’m sure they will confess to each other soon, as there is a clip of XLH returning the pendant to CH and DFQC piggybacked her. I think that should be the time they realize their feelings for each other. Actually all their destinies changed the moment XLH decided to save CH at the start of the drama.

Btw, where did you get your spoilers from aside from MVs and trailers? Weibo? I read your last post and I’m pretty convinced they’re legit. The videos I’ve seen were mostly misleading. Lmao. They gave a bit of truth and distort the rest 🤣 Darn clickbaits

It makes me wonder how different is the drama from the novel? I’ve read some comments previously, but I already forgot. Someone enlighten me please.

everything is going. Mortal world ending soon, we’re gonna get back to seeing DFQC in his majestic wardrobe and headpieces again!

Episode 21, where XWQ was walking with XLH and talked about her dream lover.. I really facepalmed when XLH mistook XWQ’s dream lover as CH. She said tian shang ming yue (moon in the sky) and XLH just had to think of the sky (tian is the heavens, which literally refers to CH) instead of the moon.

GJ has a prettier face imo. This is my first ZLH drama, so I don’t know much about his works before. So when I saw him I was like I’ve seen this face and GJ just popped up in my mind

Yeah, that’s exactly why this is refreshing because they’re still who they are and everything is still within the plot, not randomly switching into another story altogether.
