What exactly happened in the end plz tell me plz
The Heavenly Emperor is alive again because a bit of his premordial spirit was placed in YY to suppress the Asura blood. So when YY returned that premordial spirit, he can revive.

Apparently there will be 2 extra episodes on 7th Sept

I just have to voice out my appreciation to Yu Mo as the SML. He cared so much for YD, spoiled her and always try to be by her side. Now I understand why in the novel YD ended up choosing YM. He had his fair share of happy ending in the novel, so let’s not be sad for him too much.

Have you seen IS yet? If you haven’t, how can you be sure IS won’t satisfy you?

i am at episode 41. FL is acting against ML... now the story loops again
What story loops are you talking about?

If it’s about FL ‘acting against’ the ML, it’s because she remembered her painful past and wished to be free from him. She was trying hard to move on from the past. I don’t see any story loops here. It’s been very clear from the start that FL killed herself because of heartbreak and misunderstanding with the ML, so her rejection towards him is logical and understandable. But deep down she still loves him, that’s why she kept saving him.

@everyone, the amount of times the asura blood tried to devour him happened less than 10 times. i would have preferred…
No, the exact reason why YY sacrificed himself is because the barrier between the heaven and demon realms was broken when his Asura blood activated. It is not about whether he can control it or not. No barrier means the demons and heavens will always fight, and the way to stop it was to recreate the barrier again.

I don't think it's fair to write a review (an article!) and judge the whole series just by watching 2 episodes…
YZ cannot act? Then they must be blind. Her success is not for nothing. Seriously, these people who resort to hate are the worst.

I just came from LLTG and IS... I'm kinda looking for a good fantasy cdrama now coz Im missing IS but I'm kinda…
If you want a lighter story than IS, you can give this a try. I personally prefer IS than this after I finished both dramas. CLJ plot moves very fast, I feel the storyline is narrated almost superficially. They only give you the big picture and that’s it. They miss out on a lot of things that could have been explored more. What makes CLJ different is it does not follow the usual xianxia tropes, so people including myself found it entertaining. I even found IS mortal realm a bit boring as I was juggling both dramas at the same time. But then I kind of lost interest in CLJ towards the end because there are just too many things on the FL that just feels so fake, especially her powers and her sudden attitude change after becoming the Goddess. The writers used her superior identity to her advantage to save her character. The story did not even provide in-depth details about her journey to achieve all these, she had everything come easy. I honestly couldn’t feel the genuine growth. I couldn’t even bring myself to rewatch the last 2 episodes.

8/10 because of the ending. dont get me wrong, a sad ending doesnt mean anything but the reason of why [ ] died…
Just because you don’t understand the reason WHY he chose to sacrifice himself doesn’t mean it’s dumb. It’s logical given YY’s character.

Title Immortal Samsara: Part 2 Spoiler
What exactly happened in the end plz tell me plz
YY sacrificed himself to recreate the barrier between the heavens and demon realm that was broken due to the activation of his Asura blood lineage. YD was devastated and she killed herself by destroying her real form.

I’ve just been rewatching my favourite bits over and over and over again. I love CY’s expressions. When YY…
YZ and CY are both amazing. They managed to bring the characters alive and I just love CY’s facial expressions. The way he looked at her, the heartbreak he felt, his smile, his longing, everything just showed on his face perfectly.

I wish there were more episodes of Xuan Ye. The combi of hair, eyes, and voice are out of this world!
CY actually dubbed XY himself. I knew it was him because of his accent!

i am on episode 4 ... fL is too arrogant.... even though whatever FL does is wrong why the hell ML is overstepping…
If YD is like all you said, then XLH/Orchid isn’t any better either. I’ve seen CLJ too and am not even fond of XLH’s character. At the start of the story XLH is even worse than YD, she’s literally a useless crappy fairy who only knows to chase after CH and heal plants, whereas YD is smart and witty, albeit a bit rebellious. XLH is too naive and childish, she’s literally a damsel in distress from start to finish. Also, there are a lot of things that are not explored fully on XLH’s character, which made me feel her change of attitude after she became the Goddess wasn’t genuine, it’s feels forced upon her just because she is the Goddess. Plus for someone who has been sealed for 30.000 years and was sealed as a child, her sudden great power feels so fake. She barely cultivates and yet she easily obtained such prowess. To me, XLH sounds more like the ultimate spoiled brat here, having everything come easy, didn’t have any significant hardships to show her growth, never gets hurt because nobody dared to touch her because of DFQC and let’s not forget from start to finish she gets protected by her parents, Siming, DFQC and CH. Compared to this Goddess, YD’s humble identity is much relatable. She cultivates and experienced a lot of ordeals, made mistakes and grew from it. She also volunteered for punishments a couple of times when something went wrong due to her wrongdoings. YD has shown her wits so many times in the series, XLH is not even comparable to her on the wits aspect. Seriously, I don’t understand why one would glorify a character like XLH. There are lots of other FLs that grew better than her. If you are only up to episode 4, I suggest you continue watching first before you judge.

hows the rating in china btw, is this drama popular? I was really trying hard to watched the first two eps but…
I feel the same about the CGI, but trust me, don’t judge IS by its appearance. Even though the storyline is like the usual xianxia trope and has 50+ episodes, IS will make you feel both characters’ journeys and their deep love for each other. If you can endure the lengthy episodes, this drama will leave a deep impression. And the acting from both CY and YZ are so on point, they make the heartbreaking scenes feels so real.

Wow, I did not expect the ending to be like this! I feel so sad for both YY and YD. Even though they are together in the end, but not in that sense though 😭 This drama definitely will be on my favourite list for a long time to come. In the middle of this I was distracted by CLJ (LBFAD), but I have picked it up again and IS beats CLJ by a long mile. The story is well written, they are not leaving out a lot of details and I love that she ended up with YY here in the drama. I have always loved angsty love story and this is it!!

This is what I call saving the character at the right time 🤣 same like when XLH warded off 3000 dark souls.…
The pace of this story is way too fast imo. The intense plot helps blur these scenes that doesn’t add up, but I feel they are missing a lot on the details of the characters which could still be explored had they made this a few episodes longer.

Unless his feelings die? Like the FL killing herself?
But to learn hellfire the fast way was to kill his loved ones by his own hands, not his loved ones die on the hands of others or suicide. And it was shown in later episodes that DFQC wanted to revive XLH, so the love is still there. Even if he regained his hellfire, it should only be momentary, so logically when the feelings returned, it should disappear again.

moon palace seem to have security problems.... anyone can barge in from Chang Heng, Rong Hao and his assistant…
Lmao. So true. Guess the writers only want to keep the plot moving, but they’re missing out on a lot of details.
