Well it has been four days and I have finally finished the story. It was an interesting watch but again it has some issues of its own like how the game favoured the mafia so much that they could have won within the first night like they made them so favoured that even the writers had to create visible plot holes just for the story to proceed. I liked the twist that it was virtual world but I feel it come a bit late. Maybe it could have been given a bit more screen time because I have so many questions like how did these parents kidnap a whole class of students and nobody talks about it speaking of which there were the multiple photos of the multiple schools that participated before them was that supposed to show the previous games or what am not really sure. I like the main character here as compared to if wishes would kill but still I feel they could have done more. Anyway the story was okay it's not really similar to if wishes could kill but at the same time they suffer from the same problem they want to have their cake and eat it too anyway it was an enjoyable watch would love for it to get a continuation because that ending felt unfinished like they were peeling for another season I mean if wishes could kill tried to do the same with the discord friend finding the phone but that felt unnecessary while here I can actually see a potential for a season two . My final verdict is I enjoyed this a bit more than if wishes could kill but not really by a huge margin...

It's the same thing essentially. I hated the ending but the series before the end is amazing I just feel like the writers were afraid of having a bl coated ending so they abandoned that line in the end but besides the ending the drama is great this about my 5th rewatch now

I know this is going to be a hot take but I feel the story would have been much more interesting if Nari was the actual protagonist don't get me wrong the story is entertaining but beyond that I felt nothing. There was no emotional attachment to any of the characters in fact I don't even think they are qualified to be characters I mean usually there should be character development emotional weight actual immersion with characters but these characters felt hollow like they were more so there for plot convenience for example the otaku guy in ep one his death was underplayed that's it's laughable. There was no actual weighted grief and I know some one is going to defend it because of plot demanded for urgency and that's why I think Nari would have been a better main character moving with the story from her POV imagine the exploration of that route but no we had to go the usual hero route and i hate that Nari was reduced to a nonsensical villain. Also the backstory was when I almost felt something but then again the sudden sacrifice by the do girl just didn't make sense okay I know that she felt betrayed but she had better ways to fight that I feel they could have worked on that too, I have other issues such as the constant missing of any law enforcement let alone parents in the show but I can forgive that as I know time was limited and probably the budget was too but what I can't forgive was there was no character development at all. Like the story also diluted it's stakes. The 24 hour.count down was such a gripping plot device but suddenly it could be by passing by somebody else having a wish during that period this was so unbelievable that I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of such plot convenience... Well enough of that the series was a fun watch with an interesting premise it's just the execution that makes it a bit hollow. I wish they could have leaned the parallel of the previous 2 girls siwon and the do girl with the current girls of Sera and Nari making Nari go the opposite direction of siwon. Man I feel bad for the wasted potential that was Nari but it is what it is

In season 2 of the dongua which is currently airing she has already joined up with the main character's. So hopefully the drama will follow suite

So far I am enjoying the plot. It the same to the dongua but the live action gives more context to the story. Hopefully. This Live action will also cover the season two dongua but I am not complaining if doesn't. Even thoug I know how the plot will progress i can't help but look forward to it

Just began season 2 of the dongua to find out there is a live action. This is a nice suprise. Let me see how it compares to the dongua

So far it seems a bit different from the manhua and dongua but the main plotpoints are there. It feels familiar and fresh at the same time, enjoying the story can't wait for the next episode,

This got a live action adaptation? I have watched the dongua and read the manhua let's see how the liveaction would look like

I was thinking the same thing the FL was telling us everything right out like how that ritual dagger would kill her or how she doesn't want to become human because of the lose of her friend or how if she does good and evil things will either lead to her being human or dead. I wish these parts were slowly revealed through action/visuals instead being told to use that bugged me for a bit. Also the FL seems to only know how to be arrogant I haven't seen her sad or angryor scared I wish the character had more range. I know the actress can achieve this so this must be a problem on the script side and not the actresses fault and the ML also come on they stretched the whole your world has shifted too much. Could he not piece it himself together. I felt like was watching a puppet going through the motions. I am seeing people praising people ep 3 but still for me it was look warm. All the characters felt like carctures instead of actual humans maybe that was what the writer was going for but the execution was not that great. I am still looking forward for the next episode hopefully it be better. Maybe this is project by a new writer who still learning the ropes so I will give the benefit of the doubt but so far my high expectations have drastically been lowered.

I think it matches her character well. Haven't really finished it, currently on ep 7 but it was stated multiple times that she was raised in a cold unloving home and she is searching for that warmth. We see this even in ep 1 when she goes to Japan to search for her ex boyfriend she is one to cling to that warmth brought by love and ML became that light when he helped her through the breakup. I don't think that makes her pathetic it makes her quite human. Humans are social creatures and this FL embodies that needs for connection. She may come off as a love brain but that doesn't make her weak in anyway. This is my opinion if you feel she is then I can't change it. I just feel it's unfair to call her pathetic for her emotional struggles

I was wondering the same thing just finished episode one and it's phenomenal. We learned alot about the main character even though we don't know much about him sounds contradictory but it's not. It felt like the episode was preparing us for that final breakthrough to him that come in the form of his mother's death it was well done as he finally stops being son in law's dog as he was I think that was where his conviction to what he was doing come but it all began with his mum asking if he was a fair lawyer. This 1 HR told a lot let me move to episode 2

The hate was annoying and I understand but it's saidehe died previously over eight times from her ascention to empress regent. Although I don't like the dislike it's understandable from his point of view

Not sure but we find out later that he is the author and the FL is the main character of the actual novel at least from his perspective

The transmigration thing was part of the og FL character so he still believes she is the OG character

I just finished episode one and that sky scraper scene immediately took me out of the world like they were flying a moment ago and then suddenly she is pushing the genie out of the building and he is taking it. He calls himself an evil creature but that is nothing it would have made better sense if the genie seeing the pushing action phasing into sand and letting the female lead use up one of her wishes to save herself here is where get to see her as a true psychopath as they both take the gamble but unfortunately he became a punching bag which I found hurt his previous characterization. He has been stated to loathe humans and see them as beneath himself yet he lets a mortal woman use him as a punching bag? If there was development later on with her growing on him and him doing the scene for the sake of letting he let lose then that might make sense but the scene as it stands now ruins alot. i was enjoying the drama till that scene. Now I am reinconsidering watching something else first and coming back when I have nothing better to watch
